not a lot of big plays. Whoever has the best playmaker today will win. McNabb’s looking alright. Not his best, but he’s making good decisions. Oline is average, but were giving McNabb enough time. You can tell we miss Peters though. I think that if we can establish Celek or Avant we can win. We also need to spotlight Jammer. He’s been known to get a lot of PI’s. Defensively, not a lot to write home about. We do have Vincent in check though. Cole looks like he should be in for a good 2nd half. We still have a chance, just need to make a few big plays wherever.

other than the Brown part. SD has good 1 and 2 corners, but they have no depth. We have WR depth. If we can get the middle of the field established, run some 15-20 yard routes in the middle of the field, were set. We do need to run some draws, one of Westy’s strengths.

I remember seeing the Chiefs and Bucs at home and thinkign I’d have gladly played those on the road in exchange for something later

Was only saying that as I watched those games earlier in the year, I figured we’d get jobbed on the back end.
That said, CHI, ATL and NYG … dang, and DAL … those are the toughest opponents left, but at least there are no more crazy west coast trips.
I honestly think if you looked at the second half of the season as a whole, @SD was one of the toughest games on there. If we need 5-3 to go 10-6, we can afford to lose this one … but we have no more freebies to give.

And I’m not too worried about the former two teams – Chicago has Jay Cutler doing his best Commando Favre impression, and Atlanta just isn’t very good.
Depends if Atlanta shows up though...

6-1 Atlanta game depends if they show up or not. 11-5 Win division. We are normally a second half team and in all honesty, the Chargers are the best team right now in the AFC with the Colts secondary being hurt and NE being somewhat old.

They looked worse than this before they went on that run last year.
It would not surprise me in the least if they went on another run, not because I’m a homer, but because they’re young and banged up … assuming some of the players who missed today come back (Peters, Joselio, Akeem) and some of the young guys play better than they have (Maclin), considering who we have left on the sked, I could see it happening.
I guess I could also see them staying beat up, staying inconsistent on offense and not rallying.
I think they’re going to make the playoffs though. For some odd reason.

We had a real favorable early schedule looking back at it. If we’d had that Oakland game, we’d be about as okay as a team could be coming off consecutive losses.

we scored to make it 28-23 with about 7 minutes left, and ended up getting the ball back with 30 seconds left. thats just not acceptable
reid seemed pissed about that TO donovan called
they burn em like it’s no big deal. I don’t know what they hell they’re thinking.
And DMAC was heated that Reid didn't call a run play ......
on that last 3 and 1 redzone attack!!
