A great slate of games will serve as the opening act for the Eagles-Chargers matchup later this afternoon. On the rivals front, the Redskins currently are tied with the Broncos 7-7 in the 1st quarter.

Carolina-Atlanta
is the most interesting one for me. Carolina has looked better of late and if they pull off the upset over Atlanta that would be big for us.

But this is becoming more and more reminiscent of Jauron’s 13-3 Bears or Vermeil’s 13-3 Chiefs, where each team relied on one side of the football to carry them and got lucky, often, on the opposite side of the football.
Fortunately, both squads lost in the first round of the playoffs they participated in (each had a first-round bye). Here’s hoping history repeats itself.
