My Son's first game

I am blessed and lucky to be headed to the game this Sunday in San Diego (I live about 120 miles away). It is going to be my son's first pro football game and obviously his first Eagles game. He's 9 and he's terribly excited. Is there any BGN group get together that I can bring my boy to to learn what it means to be an Eagles fan and for him to meet more of the fan base?

I think my first game was either the Raiders or Saints in the early 90s. Don’t remember much, but it being a blast!

Check the site out. I think I got something from them about an a SD event. Also, they have a facebook page that’s pretty cool. I joined it even though I’m rarely on the west coast.

A few weeks ago I shot them an email b/c I was going to be in Scottsdale,AZ on gameday. I got a reply the next day with a suggested sports bar that would be full of Eagles fans. Pretty cool.

Tell him have fun

I just went to my first NFL game this last weekend when the Eagles faced the Cowboys so I know how excited he is. Hopefully he brings more luck to the team then I did. Best wishes.
