Are Westy's days in Philly numbered? - NFC East - ESPN
I hate to be the guy to say it out loud, but does anyone else think this could be running back Brian Westbrook's last season with the Eagles? He's been one of the best players in the history of the franchise, but at age 30 he appears to be more fragile than ever.

Ankle is latest sore point for Eagles RB Westbrook | Philadelphia Daily News | 11/10/2009
"I don't think Brian's head is a [problem]. Brian had some work done on his ankle, so if he doesn't go on Wednesday that would be the cause unless something crazy [happens] with his concussion," Reid said.
Bills players split on idea of bringing in Vick - The Huddle: Football News from the NFL - USATODAY.com
In Buffalo, players seem split. Cornerback Donte Whitner said he thinks Vick would be a good fit. "I would encourage whoever to bring Michael Vick in ..." Whitner said. (via ESPN) "I would welcome bringing Michael here." Wide receiver Lee Evans, meanwhile, wasn't so optimistic. "I love him as a player and everything that he's done for the league," Evans said, "but I don't think it'll be anything we'll aggressively go after."

Great point about going around in circles
We blew out one team, lose to the Raiders. Beat another team, play like hell to the skins. 1-8-1 in close games…. Holy mother of God. We’ve changed our lines, we’ve changed our WRs, and even our backfield. I don’t want to sound like a broken record so I won’t even say it, but that is one hell of a telling stat.

oh yeah it and pains me to agree with you Jason
Westbrook seems just about done. The most dynamic play maker we had this decade is starting to decline steeply. All good things must come to an end I guess :(

That Sam Donnellon article was funny...
Yet strangely SOMEWHAT accurate! Im mean, we have been goin in circles but the telling part is the stats and the same old robot quotes. Of course, im not one to just read into stats as they can be VERY VERY deceiving! I know Reid and or Lurie can’t throw their team under the bus..and rightfully so, but the same response over and over and yet nuttn has changed from it is VERY telling!
Point is, its come to a point where most of us can sort of predict what Reid/FO and the Birdz will do and say! We can NOT see the future, but based off the current track record we can draw a pretty accurate prediction!! Im not bashin anyone. I know no team is perfect week in and week out til the bitter end. I just really want this team to get past this, move forward and succeed! If that means get a new Head Coach, or QB, or GM, or President then so be it. Its been 11 yrs and we’re still talking about “Putting players in the right position to make plays!” Can’t we get past this ALREADY.

Id like to add....
I will ALWAYZ support this team! No matter what. But I will NOT support a problem within the team that is hindering them from moving forward. Whatever that problem may be (a player, coach etc…..) !!!
