Totally unexpected...
Ahh...so impressed with the Birds today. This was probably the best game they have played since the Dallas game last year. (you KNOW the one)
Going into this game all of the Eagles problems that they have had ALL year have gone away. They sustained drives, ran the ball, sustained drives, had the safety smash guys, had great special team play(Ellis Hobbs !)
Giants dont suck either...they are a quality opponenet and had all the motivation in the world after last years beatdwon in the playoffs in their house. Whats not to love here ?
2 things that were different today...no Brian Westbrook and none of the bullshit WildVick playws...(cept one) If I never see Mike Vick on the field again I wont miss him a bit. Mckoy looked good and will probably take Westbrooks job next year. Nice thing is Westy could still be a threat as a receiver so we will always have some use for him.
Great win overall...unexpected to win in this dominant fashion but I will take it. Bring on Tony Homo !

Super Huge
and if we continue the trajectory that we’ve been on for these last couple of weeks, then we stand a better than average chance of doing it. Honestly, O/D/Spec Teams all seemed not only effective, but downright lethal. The scariest part is we’ve still havent reached our ceiling yet.

funny you say Super
last time we went 6-0 in the division we were one win away from an endless party in Philly.
RIP Jim Johnson. You will truly be missed.

I have NO Problems with Vick
The cat is just doin’ what he’s told. I don’t believe he has the option to call an audible is he sees something he doesnt like. Reid sends him in their with the play, and Vicks job is to run THAT play period. I have problems with how Reid uses him. If when every time Vick comes and is called to hand off or run the option, then after awhile defense will KNOW just to play the RUN when Vick comes in! And in the NFL, players pick up on that really fast. If Reid let Vick throw more, or run an option-fake to throw, defense would be clueless to what Vick will do next time he comes in! Keeping the defense HONEST is a must! Reids not doin that with Vick. I dont blame Vick for nuttn!!!!!!

The more we run Vick, the more attractive he looks next year as trade bait
he’ll be worth at least some decent draft picks.

Ronnie Brown...
Ronnie Brown is even Throwing the ball sometimes and he aint a freakn QB! Miami runs the wildcat more effectively becuz their entire offense is now Wildcat based! So they devote their time creating wildcat packages. When u see Ronnie Brown throwing outta the wildcat u know Miami has spent a lot of time preparing to keep the defense HONEST. They knew that they couldn’t just ONLY RUN outta the wildcat, cuz they know teams will just stack the box more and more. So they let Ronnie throw on occasion to keep the D on their heels.!!!! It aint rocket science!
