Excited for first Eagles game

Been an Eagles fan for 30 years, but never been to Philadelphia. That all changes this weekend, as I will be at the Bucs game, and it should be a good game to be at. Donovan and Westbrook should be back, Vick gets to play with McNabb, and best of all, the Eagles should roll over Tampa. I look forward to singing Fly, Eagles, Fly with the home crowd also! Hopefully several times! And the weather is twice as warm in Philly as in my hometown of Denver this weekend. (I am not a Rockies fan nor a Phillies fan, so I don't care one way or the other about the baseball series. Sorry)

i’m in the same boat as you, although i have seen other eagles’ games, most recent being the 26-7 drubbing on my local seahawks in ‘08. can’t wait to go to a iggles’ home game. and have fun at the linc, hopefully it’ll be a blowout!

Love to see real fans take the trip to visit the nest – Enjoy your time, cause its a f*ckin blast, not gonna lie (especially when we’re winning – unlike most other team’s “fans” we dont leave games early, winning or losing). I’d get in a little early to see all the player intros cause its also an experience, however it was a whole lot better when B-Dawk was with us. Who knows – wonder if Trotter gets a crazy intro???

The intros are definitely worth it. I usually get “distracted” out in the parking lot and rush to make it for the kickoff. Always regret missing the intros.

That being said, I think it would be cool if the intros were for the stars on both sides of the ball, instead of always picking either Offense or Defense. Hell- include Rocca or Dorenbos every now and then! lol

I’m a season ticket holder for my college alma mater, and I always make sure I’m in my seat about 45 minutes before kickoff. For a pro game, especially my favorite team in their stadium, damn right I’ll be there for the intros. :-)
