The Vick Bowl @ ATL

I know this is looking a bit ahead but one of the deciding games for post season play will be in December against Atlanta.  We look forward to giving Micheal Vick a welcome back in true southern style!  Nothing against Donovan but I want to see Vick under center at the Georgia dome, he will have to deal with the crowd noise his opponents dealt with....I can't wait to see these two teams go at it....Go Falcons!! :D

Poll

A very selective case of the swine flu...

….would have to sicken EVERY OTHER waiver wire, backup, or roof shingler who used to be QB out there before I’d want to call on Vick.

Donovan takes the vote

Wow, 94% for Donovan. Either there is low regard for Vick as QB in Philly or Donovan still has a lot of love from the faithful…

We're not high on Vick

as a QB…we think he has potential to be electric in specific circumstances, but we haven’t seen it since his return. He’s a work in progress, but no, we don’t see him as a QB in Philly

McNabb is the better QB by lightyears. No comparison.

Vick was never as good as McNabb to begin with and he is in now way ready to take over at this point. Now that Kolb has proved his worth he will be the man under center if McNabb can’t go. McNabb is our QB as long as he is in Eagle green. These are just the facts.

Well, one can always dream. The game may not match last night’s Green Bay/Favre reunion…

Who did it? Who voted for Vick?

About 10 minutes ago, I was pondering my own existence. Then I decided that it didn't matter.

yeah

i can understand someone being “that guy”, but who are the other 2 morons?

Uh. I hate Vick.

I wouldn’t vote for him if the other option was Pat Ryan, or Ryan Moats, or Ryan Seacrest.

Michael Vick, Marcus Vick, and their parents?

I wonder if I can bill Jeff Lurie and Peter Angelos for the years of therapy their teams are going to put me through.

The only playing Vick will see in that game is in the wildcat… just like every game before and after that one.

the fact that you think vick vs. mcnabb is debatable really shows you know next to nothing about the eagles.

True, I don’t know about the Eagles, that’s why I live down here in the ATL i guess. Vick was never able to make the transition to QB. Donovan has the arm and most days the good sense to make plays, I’ve always wondered why he gets the treatment he gets up in Philly, maybe he should go play for a team and a town that is craving a true quarterback….Oakland?

by tmFalcons on Oct 6, 2009 4:12 PM EDT reply actions

Oakland doesn’t need him. JaMarcus is the answer.

i wish..

i love jamarcus im an lsu fan and love that kid he has a hell of an arm but has no accuracy he lacks several things to be a quarterback in this league.. he still needs alot of work to be done so far he is a bust.. i wish he could turn it around im hoping and praying he does but i just dont knwo if he will

by bclancy15 on Oct 6, 2009 4:48 PM EDT up reply actions

he needs to lose some weight and go to meetings if he wants to be taken seriously. Obviously being a QB and a leader on his team and in this league is not one of his top priorities.

We don't agree often...

…but when we do it is magical. I love Donovan. Always have. Nicely stated.

we’ve been agreeing more and more often either your softening up or I’m becoming more cynical.

This post is silly

Donovan is a great QB. On his BEST day, Vick is below average. If giving Vick a welcome back “southern style” means watching him eat shrimp po’boys and drinking sweet tea while his ass is riding the bench for the entire game, have at it. Meanwhile, Donovan will be carving up your soft-ass secondary. Merry Christmas.
