Eagles should attend World series after Giants win

I think it would be appropriate for the Eagles to show up to the world series and support the Phillies after a win vs the Giants.

I think this would stir up the crowd and have them in a frenzy. The heroes from earlier in the day show up wearing game jerseys and catching a ball game. They don't even need to stay the whole game, just show up for a few innings. Can you imagine the fan reaction to this? Its would be crazy!!!

I don't think the entire teams should go, just a selected few. Its nice to see that you support your brother in Philly sports. Like I said, it would be nice to see a game jersey or two. I know they would be hurting and some will have other plans, but this would be a shot in the arms in what is already a date in destiny for Philadelphia sports. Granted, this would only be appreciated if they won. If they lose, it wouldn't make a different.

I think the Phillies should extend an invitation to the Eagles to watch this game. Would make for the ultimate finish to an ultimate weekend. What do you think?

Lauren Harts has gotta do the anthem. If not, Eddie Vedder or The Boss are in town. Would be nice, anyone but Jennifer Hudson again.

It definitely would get the crowd rolling but honestly, I’d rather see our boys sporting some Phillies Jersey in the crowd to show support. I think that would be a bigger deal than putting the attention on them with their jerseys on after a win. If they went out there in some Phillies gear, that would get the crowd really going.

I know they’ll be tired after the game but hopefully they do make it over there for the first couple innings.

The boss would be great for the anthem and with the President in town too… we should be able to get SOMEONE interesting to throw out the first pitch.

I recall seeing a star filled Wold Series in New York. It think most Philly big stars should represent the city.

Everyone but Kobe, he’s a Mets fan (I din’t mind him rooting for LA, but you can’t say you were a Mets fan as a Kid) Major Violation in my book.

Definitely would be cool, but the Phils shouldn’t extend an invitation. These guys should pay to go to the game, just like us. Actually, I was at one of the NLCS games and Stew Bradley was sitting about five rows in front of me.

I prefer just the regular same-old crowd. Leave the celebrities and what not to the Yankees, it just shows how much of a bandwagon city they live in. We dont need a stars in the stands to get phils fans riled up, its the world series, they will go nuts as usual. By not having stars there, it shows the character of the city.

But the title of this post makes it sound as if the eagles players should attend the phillies game after the GIANTS win (meaning that the Giants won the game).
