It's ridicules that polls are open already.

Teams still have 9-10 games to play. Wait until December to open polls. By then, we should know who’s actually good and who just having a fluke start (See Brett Favre last year…and this year…)

RIP Jim Johnson, best ever.

Agreed 100%

This is exactly why horrible players like Flozell Adams and Ken Hamlin make the Pro Bowl.

I think

Brett would’ve made it regardless. ESPN’s voting alone would get him to Hawaii

RIP Jim Johnson. You will truly be missed.

I’m focusing on Winston Justice

speaking of the Cobbinator… you know my loathing for anything he writes, but check this paraphrased tidbit from the recent McNabb interview… last sentence.

linky

what were we talking about the other day???

"I tried to run him over but Eli had his big boy pads on and he kind of stopped me from getting in the end zone. The next time I’ll try to jump over his head.’’ - Asante Samuel

ok soooooo will he fix this …. it’s not like McNabb has been a poster child of proper mechanics over his career.

what were we talking about the other day???

We do tend to be ahead of the curve …

no he won’t… as you said, this isn’t something new for him. he’s been in the league for 10 years and if he hasn’t done so at this point, it won’t happen. the sad part is, he realizes the problem… it’s not like he’s oblivious

I dont think thats the sad part, I think its a good thing he realizes it so he can study it and focus on it for the next game. At least he’s not like Jamarcus Russell and say its not him and its everyone else. Thats just sad.

yeah but it is a little sad that’s why we are looking at over a decade of bad mechanics and no resolution.

McNabb has always had a baseball type throw and that is fine, the issue is he never sets his feet, tends to lead with his shoulder instead of his elbow and the result is balls in the ground. I’ve come to live with this but I’m not okay with it.

Foos and I were discussing the other day whether his bad throws were his ribs or the fact that he is who we thought he was.
