forewarning: fans are going to want Larry Johnson...and I'm saying no
It has been brought to my attention KC is going to release Larry Johnson after his lovely week of words. I know Westy might be out for two weeks or so but this is in no way the answer. I don't care if he's a local guy because I think we remember Tony Hunt and how well that former Nittany Lion did. LJ could be worse then TO and talk about pissing off Brian, this will be rediculous. The only way I could see this working is if he signs a one yr minimum. But please let this not be a long line of LJ articles. If you want him you want him but let it be, because I just think its wishful and kinda misguided thinking.

I don't think anyone's gonna be calling for him

LJ was dominant for two years but other than those two years, he never played another full season or play the same. Although he was averaging 4.5 yards per carry last year but played only 12 games. 3 assault charges since 2003 and now he is suspended again for dissing gay people. I doubt the Eagles are going to sign LJ after Vick. This would seriously hurt the Eagles image.
Andy Reid has to live with Sunday's reality: He was out coached by Tom Cable. (John Clayton)
Since 2005: Andy Reid 37-32-1; 7-25-1 when tied or losing at halftime.

LJ’s value is getting hurt by that pathetic line. “Grandmama” excels at being a patient runner; patience is something hard to come by in the majority of halfbacks. This style of play doesn’t really fit with the Eagles MO either. Unfortunately, his off the field issues also have hurt his cause. For those 2 reasons, I don’t think the Eagles will roll the dice on him, if he does end up released.

Here's the thing...
He’s nowhere near what he once was and he acts like a child, but if Westbrook is going to be out for a couple games, they’re going to have to sign somebody.
I just read where Will Witherspoon was extremely impressed with our locker room upon his arrival, so it’s not like Larry Johnson is gonna cause some sort of major collapse because of his attitude.
So I say why not? He’s still relatively young, and could contribute immediately.
