Eagles find a pushover they can handle - NFC East - ESPN
If you're trying to kick start your season, the Redskins are the ideal opponent. On Monday night, the Eagles needed less than two minutes to bury a team that is gaining ground on Al Davis' Raiders for biggest laughingstock in the league.

Jackson Excels as Eagles Rout Woeful Redskins
Don’t be fooled. Monday night’s uninspiring 27-17 victory over the Redskins served only to reveal the obvious: DeSean Jackson is really good. And the Washington Redskins aren’t.

Eagles' Witherspoon steps in to a fill void | Philadelphia Inquirer | 10/27/2009
What middle linebacker problem? After dealing with two season-ending injuries, an uninspiring open competition, and an underwhelming comeback, the Eagles appear to have found themselves a full-service middle linebacker.

Eagles Notes: Eagles' Westbrook suffers a concussion | Philadelphia Inquirer | 10/27/2009

Gotta hand it to that guy- he’s a true fan for sticking with his shitty team. Hell, he sounds like a birds fan- not one to mince his words.

This group of people near me had a sign about as big as that which said “Skins under Cooke = Winners; Skins under Snyder = LOSERS” – They didn’t get kicked out.. just asked to put their sign down.

There were a lot of Skin fans hating their team that day… or I guess I should say everyday.

I’m kind of hoping the Redskins get a local tv blackout. How embarrassing would that be for them? Honestly, I love living in DC just for this right here. I love coming into work Sunday and just seeing the pall that has befallen the entire city.

I’m getting way too much glee out of this…

Let the beasting begin.

As a Redskin fan

I’m hoping for it. The only way for Snyder to get his head out of his ass is to be so humilated that he’d have to hire a real GM to save face.

This is the darkest time in Redskins history, and perhaps Eagles fans love it but I always prefered an NFC East where every team was competitive.

Dan Snyder..Go fuck yourself!

Actually, a large part of my glee stems from the fans. I’ve lived in DC for a number of years and found Redskins fans to be completely delusional. The Skins have been a bad team for a decade, but every offseason, I’ve had to listen to why their latest free agent spending spree is going to bring them a Superbowl. Albert Haynesworth is going to create a playmaking defense and that’ll bring us the Superbowl! When I point out obvious deficiencies (O-line) I get the same tired nonsense that essentially was, I didn’t know what I was talking about, it wasn’t going to matter, I obviously don’t know football, oh and how many Superbowl trophies does your team have?

This season, I’ve been comparing Skins fans to a guy in his first AA meeting. How did I get here? 10 years ago I was just savoring the moment, you know, because it was great. Then I just kept savoring that moment. I never thought it would stop. But finally I hit rock bottom and now here I am and I don’t know how I got here.

Its been wonderful theater and fantastic scheudenfraude for me. Skins fans don’t deserve the crap that Danny-Boy is putting them through, but at the same time, they need to wake up and realize they’re the Lions or the Raiders of the NFC East. A perpetually underperforming team in constant chaos that the rest of the division doesn’t respect and doesn’t take seriously and that the league as a whole generally laughs at and sees as an easy mark.

Let the beasting begin.

I'm actually a Skins fan living in PA from DC

So I see the same blind fandom you do there. I’m 29 and my last memories of us being great was the fantastic ’91 season and a hiccup in ’99 when we won the NFC east. Tragically snyder would come in the following year with Deion, mark carrier, Jeff George and the rest has become the laughing stock of the NFL. Atleast the raiders have an excuse, their owner is mental.

I’m not delusional at all, for 10 years I’ve begged that our front office would be run like the eagles, colts, steelers, and patriots. What I am happy to see is fans being fed up and trying to protest and revolt in whatever we can.

Which is especially where I see Dan Snyder as a huge d-bag. Suing fans, kicking fans out of the stadium, banning signs. He’s such a fucking cry-baby that he can’t handle someone calling him a moron.

Let the beasting begin.
