I really wish the NFL would stop this nonsense.
Eagles Notes: Eagles' Westbrook wants increased workload | Philadelphia Inquirer | 10/23/2009
"I think I can make some plays when I have the ball in my hands," Westbrook said before practice yesterday. "It's very hard to show people what you can do when you don't have the opportunities. I think as the season goes on, I will get those opportunities - and when I do, I think I will show people that I can still play."
McNabb Expected to Deal With Growing Pains
After losing to Oakland, an embarrassed McNabb said he expected his young teammates to "hit the wall" – but he didn’t think it would be then and there. He also used the terms "baby steps" and "learning experience."
The guard situation | Philadelphia Inquirer | 10/23/2009
Now that Todd Herremans is back from injury, the Eagles have some decisions to make at their two guard spots. Judging from all indicators, Herremans will start at left guard and Nick Cole will move over and start at right guard for Monday night's game in Washington.
Much more after the jump.
How Is Vick Doing? - Sports Biz with Darren Rovell - CNBC.com
It has been two months and 10 days since the Philadelphia Eagles signed Michael Vick. So how is Vick doing from an image standpoint? Animal activists certainly aren't protesting enough to get any attention anywhere, but that doesn't mean Vick is close to signing endorsement deals.

Eagles to face Redskins' new playcaller | Philadelphia Daily News | 10/24/2009
"It presents a different challenge, and an added dimension," Eagles defensive coordinator Sean McDermott said, when asked about the Redskins turning control of their offense over to Sherman Lewis, a former coordinator for several teams who has been out of the league since the 2004 season. "There's not a lot of film available for what coach Lewis has done, going back to '04 with Detroit and then also '01 as a coordinator [for Minnesota]."
Eagles' issues pale in comparison to Skins' - NFC East - ESPN

lol.
And yeah, the NFL having games in Britain is nonsense. It’s not for the team that is called “the home team.” I don’t think your home, when your playing overseas.
"The punt to DeSean Jackson. The punt. Short, Jackson takes it at the 32. Looks for running room, reverses the field. He's at the 40. 50, 45, 40, 35, 30, He's gonna go!
"McNabb in the shotgun again. McNabb takes the snap, fakes, he's back, he's looking, he is going deep for DeSean Jackson, who races, has it! TOUCHDOWN!!! DeSean Jackson!!

I am not against American Football in Britian, and think it would be great if they got into the sport, but it is pretty much just annoying to have NFL games over there. There are only 16 games after all, so having one over there is kind of crazy.
Better would be to have a college bowl game over there, help let the players get some travel education as well!

So, we now have Peters, Todd, Jackson, Cole and Winston up front right?
Sounds like thats as close to full strength as were going to get (I consider having dumb and dumber in there at ‘completely full strength’, but that just seems silly right now)

Dumb
Playing NFL games in Britain is dumb. Too far for teams to travel. And its hard for fans who actually pay for the teams to go see them.
