What if Reid Pulled a Fisher?

PrintJeff Fisher recently 'apologized' for wearing a Peyton Manning jersey to a charity event with former Colts' Head Coach Tony Dungy. At first, I thought it was funny (especially since he said I just wanted to feel like a winner) but I started to think 'what if Andy Reid did this?'
What if Big Red wore a Eli Manning or Romo jersey to a charity event? I would be pissed to say the least. I doubt he would ever do such a thing, but thinking about the Fisher joke applied to your home team and its division should bring some much needed perspective.

if he can find a XXXXXL aikman i wouldnt mind .. but romo sucks .. theres a diff between wearing an alltime great and wearing an average qbs jersey .. didnt warren sapp do this before too? but i dont care .. like i said .. fans care more than the players .. u think asante cares about winning? maybe .. maybe a litle .. he plays for himself and for a pay check .. he was all smiles when we lost to arizona .. and my friends were flipping out stop smiling asante .. most players are friends .. if mcnabb wore an ocho cinco jersey i dont mind .. aslong as thats not who their playing than who cares

d mac is dreadful…. he’s the greg norman of the nfl…. he has a glass psyche…all swagger and no substance…. andy reid is the /worst field marshall in the league… he can’t manage three timeouts….let alone get his team ready to play….on top of that his draft record (mcdougle…. simon… andrews… pinkston… mitchell…. mcnabb…. etc. is horrible… head cases and losers… the fact that he had picked some good players is more dumb luck than anything else)…. vick is a thug and contributes nothing… luire is a complete idiot…. any fool would have gotten rid of reid and mcnabb long ago… he either likes losing or just doesn’t care because the money just keeps rolling in… at least we have the fightn’s….

u cant tell me that players dont care about winning. yeah they care about their paychecks and stats but show me a member of the lions last year that didnt care about not winning a game.
even better, remember the celebration 2 years ago when the winless miami dolphins beat the ravens?
the vast majority of players care about winning, hands down

It’s irrelevant. Sure Andy appreciates the fan base, but you have to acknowledge he isn’t part of the fan base. I figure people would be pissed seeing him in another teams jersey, but he doesn’t care about rivalries the way we do. For him it just involves a higher coaching standard come game day. If that kind of thing pisses you off, you misunderstand the mentailty of people in the NFL.
