Our Philadelphia Eagles are going to be fine

Was that a Bad loss for us, yes, as a matter of fact yes might be an understatement, but at the end of the season when we win the division will it really matter if we lost to an AFC team, yeah it will be really embarrassing but still. We have eleven more games on the schedule, ELEVEN, and honestly every single one of them is more important than any game we have played thus far(divisional games, end of the season games, and playoff momentum games). I have seen this team too many times step it up later in the season and get it done that I refuse to believe that just because we lose one game in mid October that we are or will be a bad team. As a matter of fact I think that this team has the chance to be the best team of the Andy Reid era once we get it all together. This was a wake up game for us and we are going to be great from here on out!

On a closing note I would just to say that we all need to remember that WE are a group of fans of the same team and we need to stop attacking each other and remember we are all friends and that we love each other(yes even you JIBTA haha).

GO EAGLES!!!!!!!!!!

Agree with you 100% man..

Yea it was embarrassing to lose to the Raiders. Trust me, almost everyone I know and talk to are Raider fans and I talked SOOO much shit on them and look what happened, they beat us. I’m still getting shit about it and will be for the 4 years!!!

But back to the point, we still have a LONG ways to go. We need to get over it and focus on the more important rivalry games coming up, those are the real games that we need. I know that our Eagles will use this loss as motivation and come out and play a great game against the DEAD skins.

I agree that in the end ...

… this loss will matter little, but if we weren’t a little pissed about losing to the lowly Raiders, something would be wrong.

Look, it’s not even really about the Raiders. It’s about tuning into that game a few times a year and watching the Birds laying an egg from start to finish. They do it every year, I’m actually not that pissed because I’m kind of used to it. You know it’s happening, and you pray for a 70-yard screen pass to Westbrook to bail us out so we can make believe it never happened, and it never comes … so we have this shit sandwich to deal with.

Bottom line, you’re right, it’s one loss. It’s a game the Eagles probably should win, but this is the NFL, teams lose to supposedly inferior teams all the time. Andy actually said it best in his post-game PC this week …

“It’s a great lesson to learn that no team is as good as you think in this league and no team is as bad as you think in this league,” coach Andy Reid said Monday. “It’s the National Football League and you better be ready every week to play and execute as coaches and players and it starts with me. Anything less than that, you’ve got a problem.”

I look at it like this:

You take this one loss, you correct what you gotta correct, and don’t let it happen again.

It’s not really about the game that’s over anymore; we can’t fix that. It’s where we go from here.

They lost to a team they should beat. I’d like to see them steal one they shouldn’t win at some point later in the year to make up for it … a road game against somebody good.

This can still be a Super Bowl team, I want to be on record saying that. But they can NOT play like that ever again if that’s to happen. Get it out of the system, but keep this loss in their minds anytime they start to think they’re better than they are.
