So....
Well i just wanted to know because i was curious....but how do u guys think you'll handle next week? Being a new, young fan and all, i dont really have too much of an idea about how pissed eagles fan get especially after a loss that just came out of nowhere....anyways i wanted to know whether u expect to win against the redskins at D.C. on Monday Night Football (just the right time for you Zorn! Get into the spotlight and make a fool of yourself! Lol jk no harm meant). And if u think we are gonna win (i think we all think we're gonna somehow get either a last-second win or loss considering how the last abomination of a game should i say went). I except the eagles to come out pissed, mad and ready to eat some skins. Being REALLLY optimistic here, i expect the eagles to win by 10 points.....i say 28-17.
Prediction for Eagles-Skins:
Offense:
McNabb (no inconsistency please =P...or atleast come out with a win) - 300 yards, 2 touchdowns, 17/24, and 0 ints
Westbrook - 50 rushing yards, 30 rec. yards
Mccoy - 30 rushing yards, 15 rec yards.
Djax (MA BOY) - 100+ yards on 3 receptions (i predict a long 80 yard bomb lolz)
Maclin - ~50-60 yards on 2 receptions (i too predict him to get some big yardage on a play)
Celek (NO MORE DROPS PLEASE) - 50 yards on 4 receptions, i see him breaking a lot of tackles and playing like a madman after his mediocre and disappointing performance against the raiders.
Defense:
I see Asante and Sheldon each getting a pick with Jason Campbell and his mental problems and troubles with what Jim Zorn did. I mean, it has to destroy a quarterback's confidence and trust in his coach when he finds out that his coach decides to bench him for someone else...i also see one of our lbs or mikell getting a safety and maybe macho too! MACHOOOOOOOOO! I expect 1-2 force fumbles if we manage to get to the quarterback (which we should i mean imo the Redskins offensive line seems like swiss cheese to me. maybe they're good but they are old and that's a killer). I expect atleast 2-4 sacks considering we did a pathetic job in trying to sack Jamarcus Russell last week.......
SO COME ON!! LETS EAT SOME SKINS FOR DINNER NEXT WEEK! WHO'S WITH ME?!

i would think so...
i mean, after all, Jason Campbell’s backup didnt do much more than Jason either…and plus he got sacked in the endzone for a safety >.< anyways i would say that Jason would start, but he’ll be under a lot of pressure and should he not perform well, he will get pulled.
If I'm goin' to hell, you're coming with me...

Do you know what all's going on down here?
They stripped Zorn of the play-calling duties. Sherm Lewis (last in football in 2004/5) is calling plays. They have not announced a starter yet, but they’ll probably go with Campbell because of his mobility. (Collins has a quicker release, so maybe that’s an argument for him).
They’re good on D, but play it safe and don’t get turnovers. The OL is horrible, and they go 3-and-out so much they haven’t even been trying to establish the run.
Granted we lost to them twice last year and just lost to Oakland … but the fustercluck that is the Redskins right now is pretty hard to match.

last year
last year, following the embarrassing tie to the bengals, I thought we’d come out and play good football. Instead we got obliterated by the ravens and McNabb got benched. Hopefully they come out on fire, but history says they’ll stay complacent until someone gets benched.

Everybody down here
keeps telling me that they think the Eagles will be fired up because of the Oakland loss and the Redskins, regardless of whether they play with heart or lay down, won’t be able to score, so the Birds should roll.
I’ve refrained from talking smack, mostly because we got swept by the Redskins last year.
However, one guarantee I will make: No matter who starts (and it’ll likely be Campbell over the immobile Collins), the Birds’ pass rush is gonna get after him.
McDermott should dial up everything he’s got. Or maybe he won’t need to. Stephon Heyer is playing left tackle, dude flat out can’t block. The LG (Will Montgomery) was inactive for some games early in the year. The C and RG (Rabach and Dockery) are good, and the other T (Mike Williams) was out of football for years.
Those things alone don’t mean they’ll be bad, but I’ve seen enough Redskins football to know the line is awful. They’ll keep Cooley or Betts/Portis in to block a lot, and their receivers outside of Moss haven’t been able to make crappy corners pay, so they’re no way they’re getting off on Brown/Samuel.
I can’t say how the Eagles’ O will do against the Skins’ D, but the D is most likely going to annihilate that offense.

If there's any mean left in the green
The Iggles lost two to the poorly rated skins last year. And they got embarrassed last week.
If there is any mean left in the Green, any mean at all, the skins are going to get every last bit of it. I’m predicting an ugly one-sided game with a LOT of personal fouls and some unfortunate injuries.

I think we will beat Washington by 30 points
My prediction is 37-7
There is no way we are as bad as we looked last week. Perfect storm if you ask me. We’ll get it on track this week
Brent Celek is the man
