How long to Djax flips?

Lets keep it real for a minute. I think its becoming clear possible that Jackson is not impressed with McNabb's return. Just in the same way Reggie Brown wasn't happy with McNabbs return, after having career games with backup QBs.

Star-divide

So the question is, how long will it be until DJax throws McNabb under the bus. We all know the boy has a big mouth, and likes to pad his stats. I recall a preseason game where someone asked him what was the difference McNabbs passess and Kolbs. He said Kolb throws pillows and McNabb throws lazers. And last week he stomped off the field and was complaining. I wonder if he prefers Kolb of McNabb. I will think that he would say he preferes Kolb. So do you think that if McNabb doesn't get the ball to Jackson in the future, he may mouth off publicly and cause a "Chism" between McNabb and his receivers in favor of Kolb. Just want your input on this, maybe I'm reading to deep into this, but I think eventually somebodies gonna open their mouth and cause problems, maybe I'm wrong.

Do you disagree. I think that the whole leaving the Linc fast with out talking.

And avoiding the media just not to comment after the Bucs game was origionally interpreted by the public as an aggressive receiver just wanted balls his way. But never viewed as a WR upset as his QB. But now we have 2 weeks in a row that McNabb did not connect with Jackson. So I’m curious to how he feels about McNabb. If his whole affair last week was him being upset at McNabb since Kolb found him so many times.

Maybe its just clear in my opinion because I view his behaviors last week as anti McNabb and pro DJax. Not just pro DJax. Look at his productions with Kolb vs McNabb this year. I hope I’m wrong. What do you think?

edited post, just not to be fair with wording.

Still, do you think I’m far off? Whats your opinion.

McNab DID connect with Jackson

6 times for 94 yards. That’s a solid game for a wide receiver in my book. Especially when you look at how little production there was in this game as a whole.

Stop making up stories.

I don't see how this is clear.

You think DJax will get any support if he, a second year player, mouths off about a 10 year veteran and possible future Hall of Famer (I said possible, chill out)? He’ll be put straight in his place. McNabb will get him the ball. Maybe he is frustrated now, but it won’t take long until he gets happy. He didn’t seem to hate McNabb last year did he?

by NOLACuse on Oct 19, 2009 11:58 AM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Jackson really complimented Kolbs ball, over McNabbs in the preseason.

I just know how much a diva Jackson. If he does prefer Kolb, I hope he keeps his trap shut and plays. I just recall Browns productions dropping once McNabb returned in the past. Reggie just preferred Garcia.

I think Jackson really shined with Kolb, and now is in a funk. I think its only time till he starts to open up that trap.

Well he seemed happy last year and that was with McNabb.

I’m sure Kolb’s passes are easier to catch, but he is a professional WR and I’m sure he recognizes the benefit of a QB who can laser it. I think he has less diva quality than you say. He’s had a few boneheaded plays in his time, but he’s never shown to be a diva. That was all media talk, but it’s never been proven by his words or actions. Maybe it’s there, but if he’s smart he’ll play ball. He will start to get the ball and have big games again. Nothing for him to worry about.

Another question: was Nnamdi covering him?

Not very many receivers being covered by Nnamdi ever see the ball.

either way jackson had a pretty good game against the raiders

Looking at Jackson stats, they weren’t as bad as I thought. I guess he had a decent game. Maybe just much ado about nothing.

This is all speculation!
So the question is, how long will it be until DJax throws McNabb under the bus

Ummm…maybe never.

We all know the boy has a big mouth,

I disagree. I’ve only heard rumors of cocky and big mouth, but I’ve only been impressed by him. He’s a talented athlete, and a team player.

I wonder if he prefers Kolb of McNabb

I wonder if he prefers whoppers to big macs. It doesn’t really matter.

I will think that he would say he preferes Kolb

I think Big Macs

maybe I’m reading to deep into this,

I think you are.

This is the type of stuff ESPN would print…trying to make a story where there isn’t one. DeSean had 6 catches for 94 yards, with a fantastic 51yard grab. That’s a good game. If he seemed aggravated, I would hope every athlete on that team was aggravated.

not trying to stir anything up. But I will hold my stance. DJax was tripping last week.

That type of aggression remind me of Me -O. I hope he doesn’t go anti McNabb on us. I would be afraid of a meltdown, if he didn’t respond the way he did last week after a win.

You gotta consider the human aspect of the game. Players do keep track of their own success, and if you have a change and aren’t as successful anymore, that may cause some mumbling. But, he may be a professional and team player more than I peg him for. But the guy was very upset last week after a big win.

The defense has already be to start to flick turds at five and the offense. I hope I’m just an upset fan today and I’m wrong.
Heck, If Donny doesn’t right that ship, we will start calling for his head, not DJax.

but what he said was all the right stuff. He said on his radio show that he was dissspointed in his lack of production against the chiefs but happy other players stepped up. He said the win was the most important thing. I never saw anything bad

by JasonB on Oct 19, 2009 3:15 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

It just was something that came to my mind. A few of my boys pointed out out they

thought Kolb ran the offense better than McNabb. I and started to wonder what the players think. And started to remember DJax.

I’m gonna be honest with you. I think he likes Kolb, but thats my opinion. I’m not gonna lie, I found your response to be classic and funny, in a good way.

I just want to go on the record and say that I think DeJax prefers Kolb, just from my observations, and based on no conversations with Jackson. So if it comes out to be true, than you heard it first here.

Great stuff bro. Just throwing out my opinion to the masses.

not making up stories, just wondering if anyone worries that Jackson is gonna talk against McNabb.

He didn’t respond well last week, and has a little TO in him. I’m not saying that I spoke to the dude, and he told me this. Just an observations of mines, and was curious as to if anyone is afraid of a future conflict as I am partially affraid. But no way am I advoting this. Just an observation of mine.

Yeah he'll flip soon

Because McNabb sure isn’t the QB who hit him last year 62 times. Or hit him 6 times last sunday.

Its not that McNabb doesn’t hit him. Its the fact thatn 9/10 times when you put up back-to-back 100 yard receiving games, coverage is going to slide to you and its going to be harder to catch the ball. Makes sense doesn’t it? Had not the offensive line been playing “Who can allow the most sacks” he probably would have noticed that Michael Huff was lined up on DeSean and that is a battle that should go to us. Also noticed that when Kolb was QB, Reid ran alot more short routes. He has a thing with McNabb going down field and not doing short routes.

It only matters who slides to his side if Nhambi is covering him. Thats what I mean, but thanks for calling smart. I think I’m rather intellegent. So your response was actually taken as a compliment.

Double Coverage is Double Coverage

Especially with DeSean being 5-9 beating double coverage is going to be hard. Even Andre Johnson and Fitz have been shut down by coverage. Besides its his second year, he’s not All-Pro yet. He’s really good, not elite. He destroys single coverage (he did that all last year), now this year he has to learn how to beat double. He’s off to a good start. Nnamdi was out and he did a good job, would have been a better job if McNabb could have seen beyond an attacking D-Line. And apparently you’re not that intelligent if you expect DeSean to start bitchin not even half way through the season when is going to be facing tighter coverage. Sounds like someone other than JIBTA wants TO back.

I hate TO,

but now I understand your comment. Just wanted you to undertand why I brought up Nambi.

Also, I only mention intelligence because you called me smart for

referring to the fact tha Nnambi didn’t play.

I know Jackson will get inside/out double coverage, or will draw a teams top CB.

If you aren’t alarmed by Jackson’s attitude, that thats one thing. But some of us enjoy his play and wish he would check the divaness at the door. You obviously disagree, and thats fine. I don’t like TO, and don’t want another one. Not saying he will become TO, but I truely hope my theory stays as just conjecture on my behalf, and not reality.

I hate when they play that game

Hey DeSean do you like catching

Short passes(Kolb) or Deep Bombs(McNabb)

I think he would say McNabb 110%

Let's get it.

Compare his stats between the 2 QBs.

DeSean, do you like getting one catch vs the Bucs and feeling overlooked. Or do you like feeling like a QBs primary target and a major contributor.

DJax doesn’t like to be a decoy!

eh

I’d personally rather see consistent, long drives instead of 2-3 big plays a game. I mean…unless we’re the NO saints this year, or the 2007 pats, we’re not going to get enough big play scores to win every game.

we could have used some short passes from anyone yesterday.

Its gotta be frustrating for everyone I guess.

i dont think this will be a problem

jackson had a nice day despite the shitty-ness of the offense. i think the stomping off the field was frustration with the lack of offensive production, not with mcnabb individually. to be honest, im not a big fan of deseans attitude, but i dont think it’s anything that will affect the team in a negative way.
