Yeah, but it’s a predictable commodity on second and long after an incomplete pass, particularly on this team. (It’s a self-fulfilling excuse for AR. “We tried, but it wasn’t working.” Of course, that comment is never placed in context to game events.) That’s no judge of its success at all.

I swear the Eagles came in to Oakland expecting the Raiders to roll over and die.
They’ll probably stomp Washington next week 42-3 or something. Then have another horrible let down game a couple weeks later.

If you let it go to the 2 minute warning, they’re forced to run the ball to waste your last time out. In this scenario, they cn pass, because even f the pass is incomplete, the clock will stop anyway at the 2 minute warning.
