Keep Vick OFF the field

I know a lot of BGNr's are going to come back and argue that with Vick, our offense is difficult to prepair for. While I agree the wildcat can be hell on a defense, I don't think it suits us well.

Star-divide

How many of you cringe when he's on the field? And some of it isn't his fault, it seems as though the entire offense is uneasy with the scheme. He is an natural athlete but unless he has consistent game time in the wildcat he will not become comfortable with the roll. Maurty throws him in on 3rd down, during the tail end of a 60 yard drive- people see 7 and expect a huge play but all the defensive ends have to do is stay at home, he hasn't proven himself as a pass threat yet so why pass rush up the field? Our offense works well (even better when the other 4 of our 5 O-linemen starters are in) Why fix something that isn't broken?

Vick is a lost cause in my opinion. Our other 2 QBs are too good to have a pet project going on at our 3rd spot. Lets focus on the guys who have preformed and cut this Vick Wildcat stuff out.

And for those of you doubting McNabb, the guy has no protection- NONE. Kolb had all day in most situations. He played great but I am still more comfortable with #5. McNabb is our number 1 and there's a reason

if you dont like an opinion then simply argue it, but dont be a dick. If you want to talk about dumbasses, your names says it all
Never said I was blaiming Vick anyhow, I was saying he wont be able to make a difference the way we are useing him.

RIP JJ

no

ur worried about vick .. our offense can score points .. the raiders are not horrible .. i was picking them for a reason to make the playoffs .. they run the ball well .and have great lbs .. vick is not the problem!! gocong is the problem .. hes a pos .. i have been saying this since summer .. ive got into countless arguments with wild eagle over it ..

we waste downs when he’s on the field. period. but that is just one problem amongst many.

it comes down to reid’s play calling. i hate it when we’re on a legitimate drive and he puts vick in and essentially wastes a down, then puts mcnabb back in for 2nd/3rd and long. it’s disruptive in that sense and should be taken care of.

im just gonna point out that michael vick is left handed.

maybe he isnt effective because hes throwing with his weak hand.

3rd and long.

Let’s give Vick some touches from the shotgun on 3rd down, NOT the wildcat. Let him make some plays. It worked with Jaws and Randall.

I agree.

Vick is a waste of time.

it is a waste of time all defenses have to do is play qb contain and he’ll have nowhere to go, and he barely shows his ability to run the ball effectively he seriously looks slow when he does it, my guess is if McCoy or Jackson were running those two plays he broke yardage off of they would’ve been much longer gains. Most of the time all he does is handoff the ball or get split out wide, totally pointless presence in my opinion
