Ask a Silver and Black Dude
Raider Nation offers greetings to Bleeding Green Nation! This Sunday in Oakland our teams will lock horns on the gridiron and battle it out to....
Oh who the hell am I kidding?
This Sunday the Eagles will take the field in Oakland and win 38-13. McNabb will be pulled by the second quarter, Kevin Kolb will still have a 300 yard passing day and LeSean McCoy will get 150 yards rushing on 15 carries. Brian Westbrook will play all 11 offensive positions in the 4th quarter and still engineer a touchdown drive.
Anyway, I am Raybin and I (for some reason) remain a Raider fan and a member of Silver and Black Pride. As I've done every week this season, I've posted a FanPost on the SB Nation site for our weekly opponents to answer any questions/comments you may have about the Raiders or our upcoming matchup and to shed some light on the team or Raider Nation at large.
If you can muster up anything but guffaws, feel free to fire away.

Hey man
Props for sticking with your team.
With that said…Raiders are gonna get raped. Badly.
Believe me, I'm well aware
I had maintained a degree of kool-aid flavored optimism up until yesterday. No illusions now.
classy post, and the westbrook thing was pretty funny
Are you happy with Darius Heyward-Bey (don’t know if I spelled it right) despite him only having 2 catches, do you feel that he might break out later in the year or is he at least contributing on special teams? Is the only reason he only has 2 catches because Jamarcus can’t throw, or is he actualy as bad as his stats portray him to be?
Thanks
No one’s happy with DHB’s production up until now. But I don’t know who to blame.
Is it him? Is it the stupid system they run? Basically, all they do 90 percent of the time is tell him to run down the field. Is it Russell? Probably all of the above.
I think he can get better. But will he? I hope so. The problem with the Raiders is that they draft these raw projects with upside like Russell and Heyward-Bey, but they suck at actually developing them.
QUESTION
What’s going on with those accusations against Tom Cable? I know the story from the guy who got pushed, but what’s Cables side of the story?
Cable hasn't offered his side of the story
All he’s said is “You’ll see when all the facts come out why I’ve kept silent” and “I’ll be vindicated” or something like that.
The tone of Hanson’s story seemed a little too pious if you ask me. Still, it seems Cable’s got some explaining to do.
Dude now saying that he thought Cable would have killed him if no one held him back – that seems a bit extreme.

How is it that JaMarcus Russel has a sub-50 completion percentage?
What impact has Seymour Richard had so far?
What happen to Raiders’ run game? I thought they had three good backs to work with, yet they haven’t done anything…
RIP Jim Johnson, best ever.
Mostly, his mechanics are awful
And he tries to throw every ball like a laser beam. He has no touch.
Seymour’s visible impact hasn’t been nearly as big as we’d all hoped, but I also shudder to think how bad we’d be without him.
Our run game has disappeared into the black hole of suckiness that is our offensive line.
what do you think about the trade itself
I personally thought the move didn’t make alot of sense seeing as you guys seem to be in a rebuilding stage, but what are your thoughts.
At the time, I really liked the trade
The trade was before the season, back when we still had hopes of respectability. 8-8 seemed like a real possibility. Trevor Scott was our starter at that end at the time and he could not hold the edge against the run. At all. And let’s face it, a 29 year old Richard Seymour will still probably be better than whoever we would’ve drafted at that position in 2010.
Anyway, I’m less enthusiastic about the trade now, obviously, but I will say Davis didn’t have many options. He needed to do something at that position and this was the best he could do.
was it a 2010 pick or 2011 pick
bc i thought it was a 2011
RIP JJ & HK
Let the future judge Michael Vick
Russell
At this point, why are the Raiders sticking with him? Is it Davis’ work, or does the coaching staff honestly believe he has it in him to be a successful NFL quarterback? Or is it just a matter of knowing the season’s already lost, so may as well give Russell one more chance to start?
Because surely there has to be someone on the street (or on the roster) who would be better.
They've got no other realistic options
In poker parlance, the team went “all-in” on Russell this season. Let’s face it, Bruce Gradkowski is not a viable franchise QB. His last start he was something like 7 for 21 for 35 yards and 2 INT. Even Russell is better than that.
I think he could’ve been a successful QB with the right coaching. But he’s never had that and on top of it was handed 29 million guaranteed dollars. You can see the result.
It’s ultimately all Al’s doing. He’s sticking with Russell and he won’t be benched until Al gives up on him.
Forgot to say.....
…at this point we’re basically better off to keep Russell in there and pray for a miracle. It’s not like Gradkowski or Frye or anyone else could salvage the season at this point.
Raider Nation offers greetings to Gang Green Nation!
Don’t mean to be rude but this is bleeding green nation. Gang green refers to the jets
Eagles fan since December 10, 1995
edit: Bleeding Green Nation
Dude first off way to stand by your team ton of respect for fans that can still find a way to cheer for their team through these hard times. At least you don’t have to hear all the “how many rings do you have?” bullshit.
Anyway, what did you think of the Russell pick when it happened and what do you think of it now?
Your team has had a revolving door at Coach and QB for the past 4-5 years and clearly Tom Cable isn’t the answer. Do you think a new coach should have been hired prior to the start of the season?
Oaklands is actually a decent matchup for the Eagles when it comes to our Offense and your D seeing as we are pass crazy and while your Run defense is abysmal at best your pass D is actually pretty damn good (thanks to Nnamdi A). I just don’t see you scoring much against our D, do you think your D has a solid shot at keeping this less than a blowout?

Not at all
Our defense will get tired in the 2nd quarter cause we will go three and out every time. We have a very bland defensive scheme that mcnabb will tear apart. as for Russell, we liked the pick at first cause we had no othwer choice. obviously quinn didnt turn out to good either. Now we want him on the bench, nothing more nothing less.
Rookie: "Why did you bench me?"
Nellie: "Your a rookie"
That tired defense thing
doesn’t even apply to the Raiders. They gave up 21 points to the Giants in the first quarter. The Giants scored on each of their first 3 possessions.. No, not a matter of being tired. Our defense can simply not contain a high powered QB or RB.
Sunday will look much the same. Believe me, Eagles fans, by the second quarter, you’ll be changing the channel, firing up the XBox 360, doing homework or painting the garage. It’s not gonna be awesome to watch. It’s just going to boring.
Quite honestly, you could start Vick at QB this game and still win.
It's tough, but we manage
We stick by the team for players like Tyvon Branch, who interacts with us at S&BP, for guys like Nnamdi Asomugha who deserve so much better and out of hope that when Al Davis finally quits (or dies) we’ll return to respectablilty.
I wanted Joe Thomas or Calvin Johnson. But I was fine with the Russell pick because Lane Kiffin had developed good QBs at USC and I thought he could do the same with JaMarcus. You see how that turned out.
The problem with Al and coaches is that he’s basically wore out all his options. No one but a guy wanting to get his foot in the door (Kiffin) or an assistant without any other options (Cable) is willing to take the job now.
Davis wanted to hire both Sean Payton and Steve Sarkisian at different points. They both wanted control over gameplanning and personnel. In any other organization, that would’ve been no big deal. In Raiderland, though, different rules apply and we ended up with Norv Turner instead of Payton and Kiffin instead of Sarkisian.
Our D could have a solid shot at keeping the game respectable, but they’ll be worn out by halftime. When they play hard, they’re a good group. But the y’re so demoralized and I don’t blame them. You could see the fire gone out of them on Sunday.
I always thought JeMarcus Russell was overrated in college, similar to my thought on Vince Young. They were both much bigger and stronger than the guys they were playing, not so much in the NFL. Early Doucet and Dwayne Bowe made him look really good too.
I realize you desperately needed a QB but I just never understood taking him number 1 overall. AP even with the injury concerns he had or Joe Thomas would have been better IMO. It was probably the worse QB draft to date and it was just unfortunate you had the first pick with Al Davis making decisions.
I definitely agree no reputable coach is going to want to deal with Al Davis after the horror stories we have heard. What a shame, hopefully you can turn it around just don’t do it this week, okay?

The Raiders got stuck that year
They had need of a franchise QB and Russell was the consensus #1 in that draft. Like you say, it just shows how weak that draft was in QB talent.
Though I was actually for drafting Joe Thomas or Calvin Johnson and giving Andrew Walter another kick at the can, which goes to show you how little I know.
I dont watch many raiders games but I was wondering...
What happened to Bush.. I remember that guy single handedly getting the Eagles a shot at the playoffs last year and thought that he would be really good given the right opportunity. Is McFadden the main option still? Is Fargas involved more than Bush? I thought the philosophy for the Raiders this year would be a three headed monster of a rushing attack with really solid defense. What happened to those two aspects?
by IgglesFanDeployd on Oct 12, 2009 4:00 PM EDT reply actions
Mcfadden is injured and will miss the game
As for Bush, he is still a good player but when you cant throw teams just stack the box and our running game has been stuffed. As for three headed monster, fargas is basically done here in oakland and most dont expect him to stick around for long. now, can we have Vick or Kolb please?

You value Lechler higher than a 2nd rounder? Wow…

Trust me, Lechler means more to his team than any other punter in the league
If we didn’t have him to pin the opposition back in their own zone after yet another 3 and out, the games would be uglier than they even are.
We all love Michael Bush
We’d all love to see him get 25 carries a game. But because Tom Cable is a dumbass, he insists on giving Justin Fargas lots of carries.
Also, with the sieve we call an offensive line and no passing game to speak of, Bush is pretty much set up to fail even if he runs every play.
Hahahaha
Love the post…

Al Davis
It seems to me that there isn’t one person who believes AL Davis has the mental capacity to run an NFL franchise. Are you stuck with him till he decides to give it up, or is there any way for him to be forced out by the NFL I just feel bad for the fans who have to put up with his nonsense.
Pretty much
He will never, and I mean never, give up until he is 1) dead or 2) physically incapacitated by a stroke or something similar.
I hate to wish death or injury on people. on the other hand, this team sucks so bad right now and so much is his doing. I compromise by hoping for a moment of clarity on Al’s part. I’m also currently wishing for a unicorn. I expect to get the unicorn first.
I’m also currently wishing for a unicorn. I expect to get the unicorn first.

You’re the best non-Eagles fan to come over here in a while.
RIP Jim Johnson, best ever.
Heh, thanks!
The only way to get through this current awful period is by developing a dark, sarcastic sense of humor, I’ve found.
Does Davis
have any conscious realization that his team sucks and that most fans of both the team and the NFL in general blame him?

A yo
I gotta give it to you for sticking with your team through the thick. True fan right there. One Love.
Thanks! When you meet a Raider fan nowadays, you know he's a true fan
Everyone else has jumped ship by now.
When things finally turn around (even if it takes another 5 years) we’ll know who the hardcores really were.
True enough
No point in quitting now. It can’t get any worse. It’s simply not possible. We were on the very brink of a winless season. Thank you KC for all the penalties.
And I say this as formerly being from Chicago. I could still claim the Bears as my team, but that’d be too easy. No, I want to see what happens next. I want to actually watch the Raiders eventually rebuild no matter how long it takes. That will be a lot more interesting than simply jumping on a bandwagon.
Good post
If you were handed the ownership of the Raiders, what would you do? Personnel wise? Scheme wise? Do you have anyone, coach or player wise, that you would retain to build around, or would you tear it all down and start with a high school team and hope they’ll mature in 5 years?
"It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog." - Bear Bryant
Loose Russell first, then on defense get a nose tackle like Shaun Rogers, Ngata etc.
Get a smart QB, not just someone with a massive arm (and belly) , coahing wise i would get someone who doesnt break people jaw and an aggresive defensive coordinator. Someone who will actually call a blitz every now and then. We also need a center and a right tackle. I need a veteran receiver as well.
Rookie: "Why did you bench me?"
Nellie: "Your a rookie"
Have to rebuild from the ground up
Hopefully with me as owner, i could attract a real coaching staff. that’s priority #1.
Next, I’d institute a 3-4 defensive system modeled on Jim Johnson and Dick LeBeau. I love dynamic linebacker play.
On offense, I’m not so sure. Probably would want to go smash mouth city featuring Michael Bush 20-25 times a game and Darrne McFadden getting a variety of touches
Jim Johnson(God bless his soul) ran a 4-3 and its all about the front 4 and good CBs. Our weakside and strong side linebackers were average last year and yet the Eagles had the third ranked defense. This year, same scheme and a weaker linebacking crew thanks to Stewart Bradley ACL tear, defense still looks top 10 good.
Felix is better than Brian. You can call me FIBTB.
by Route36 on Oct 13, 2009 12:05 AM EDT via mobile up reply actions
You're right, he did
Don’t know why I had him lumped in with LeBeau and the 3-4.
In any case, I love his philosophy above all. Actually, if a Johnson-type guy could be our defensive co-ordinator, I think with the crew we currently have, it could go places. But Al would never allow it. He doesn’t like blitzing.
Do you think that Russel could still develope into at very least a decent NFL QB? Or do you think hes Ryan Leaf 2.0?
Could he? I actually think yes
Under 2 conditions
1) He commits himself
2) He gets proper coaching
Maybe he’ll wake up or not regarding his work ethic. But as for the better coaching…well, he won’t get it in Oakland.
My ultimate nightmare scenario is that he’s cut loose and develops into a real QB in another organization.
If hes not working hard now, he will never work hard
At least as a pro QB. He just wants his money and live in the fast lane
Rookie: "Why did you bench me?"
Nellie: "Your a rookie"
Maybe he’ll wake up or not regarding his work ethic.
handing him 32 mil guaranteed probably didn’t help this.

Also read that JaMarcus lost his uncle in the off -season who was like a father to him and was the main positive influence in his life. He seems to definitely be missing that steadying presence.
Good Read!!! and Good to Hear From U
What’s Raider Nations greatest fear about playing the Eagles? (if any)
Also how do u fair our Offense compared to all of the other teams u have played this year??!!
I think you gys are a super bowl team
lets leave it at that ;)
Rookie: "Why did you bench me?"
Nellie: "Your a rookie"
Your blitzing worries me most
I assume even though you tragically lost Jim Johnson (RIP, what an awesome coach), your defensive philosophy is still “blitz first”, yes? Our O-line is such a patchwork right now, that it could give us nightmares.
Actually don’t know much about your offense. I’ll be interested to see it in action.
U’ll most def. be in for a show..of course if all goes well for the Birds. As u prolly already know, we have many and I MEAN MANY weapons. Bwest, McCoy, Weaver, Celek, Djax, Jmac and more..! The one thing u need to know is that anyone if those guys has the ability to score at anytime.!
Im glad we play u guys cuz i wanna see “The Best Cornback In The Game” play. I wanna see him go up against Djax! U guys have a decent def. and I can’t wait to see it in action!!
Nnamdi is definitely the best
It’s always fun to watch him up against the best WR the other team has to offer
by Raybin on Oct 12, 2009 5:51 PM EDT via mobile up reply actions
Having not seen too many Raiders games...
Does Nnamdi generally line up across from the stud WR, or does he play his side regardless of who’s lined up there?
I know with Jim Johnson, Sheldon was on the right, and Asante on the left…it didn’t matter where the WRs lined up
"What did it feel like? That collision, I didn't feel nothing, because he was pretty much defenseless. It was like running through a cardboard box. Seriously. Cardboard box."- Sheldon Brown on his pounding of Reggie Bush in the '06 Playoffs
Nnamdi generally lines up opposite the opposing best receiver
But he’ll also usually stay on that side, which can enable the WR to move sometimes. All of Andre Johnson’s catches in the Houston game came when he got away from Nnamdi.
by Raybin on Oct 12, 2009 7:14 PM EDT via mobile up reply actions
why did that happen?
why didn’t they just line him up with A Johnson?
chris johnson looked good last year at the end of the season and I thought nnamdi had finally gotten some help in that god forsaken defense.
but now all I see is him getting burnt all the time.
what are the things the eagles should be most scared of? if there’s a huge upset why would it be?
RIP Jim Johnson. You will truly be missed.
by Igglesfan13 on Oct 13, 2009 1:31 AM EDT via mobile up reply actions
I can't see it
The only (even remote) strength they have is their pass D. Maybe they could prevent us from scoring a little bit, but their offense is so bad, I don’t see how they score meaningful points.
They simply don’t have the offensive firepower to put up enough points to upset us
"What did it feel like? That collision, I didn't feel nothing, because he was pretty much defenseless. It was like running through a cardboard box. Seriously. Cardboard box."- Sheldon Brown on his pounding of Reggie Bush in the '06 Playoffs
We have no idea what happened to CJ
It looked for a while that the Raiders could have one of the Top-5 starting CB tandems in the league. Johnson even had a good start to the season. But these last two games, he’s been scorched like tissue paper. Multiple times he’s released his man like he’s playing a zone defense….like we suddenly decided to play a zone system on that particular play. It’s weird.
If there’s a massive upset, it’ll be as a result of 4 things:
1) Commitment to running Michael Bush
2) JaMarcus playing like he did at the end of last year
3) The O-line actually giving Bush holes to run through and Russell time to throw
4) The defense making some clutch stops
Of those things, only the last has happened with any frequency this year. And eventually the defense wears out and they can’t come up with the big stops anymore.
Good post Raybin . . .
I enjoy an occasional intelligent opposing fan.
Appreciated your Jim Johnson comment.
Since I am guessing you didn’t predict DHB in the first round . . . who was the consensus pick of choice for Raiders nation?
There was a lot of division
I wanted BJ Raji, Jeremy Maclin or Eugene Monroe. Others were all for Michael Crabtree or Brian Orakpo. No one wanted DHB

Virtually nil
Stanford Routt is maybe the worst nickel corner in the league. Nothing but another Davis track star. The people behind him are worse, if that’s possible.
Our starting SLB and his backup both got hurt Sunday, so that situation is even worse, if that’s possible
by Raybin on Oct 12, 2009 6:29 PM EDT via mobile up reply actions
thats gotta be rough.
but you gotta stick by the squad, that’s how its gotta be.
I’ve only watched one raider game this season and it was the first game against the chargers. I was actually impressed with their play and especially seymour’s impact on the defensive scheme. Russell’s accuracy left a lot to be desired though. That being said, they havent lived up to that first performace from what I’ve seen, and Russell’s accuracy hasn’t gotten any better. I’m just hoping the birds don’t take them lightly and somehow get upset. (I was afraid of that last week too, though)
Sadly for the Raiders, until someone gets AL Davis declared non compis mentis – they’re screwed….sure as eagles fans we don’t benefit from the bad ownership like we do with the redskins and cowboys, but al davis is one of the worst owners in sports…and it’s sad since he didn’t always suck…he just hasn’t adjusted

Don't know
The Coliseum is like 44 years old. They need a new stadium. But in the current economy (Oakland has been really hard hit) and with how bad the Raiders are, they aren’t going to get one any time soon.
That being said, I think Al wants to remain in Oakland. So we’ll see.
There’s a more viable candidate for LA that desperately wants to move their – whose owner hasn’t alienated the NFL -
LA doesn’t really want a new stadium though – someone was willing to put up substantial cash to put a stadium in Carson but the city put the kiobsh on it.
It would have housed the chargers most likely – not the raiders

Hey Rabin!
I watched the raiders play the first week of the season on the Monday night double header and honestly they looked like a team on the up swing what has happened since then to make them fall apart?
Let's get it.
The same old story
Lack of discipline, poor execution. Cable said it best after the Giants game: “We’re playing hard, but we’re not playing well”
The offensive line is a disaster. Our best lineman went down with an injury. Samson Satele was supposed be our starting center for the next 5 years, but was slow picking up the ZBS and got beat out by a career backup in camp. Satele is playing now only because of injuries to others. Cooper Carlisle, once an excellent RG, is showing signs that the tank is just about empty. Cornell Green, who many of us can’t stand and who is probably the worst starting RT in all of football, went down with an injury……and his replacement is EVEN WORSE.
It begins and ends with Russell. If he was playing like he did the last several games of the 2008 season, we would’ve scored more points and maybe beat the Chargers and even the Broncos or Texans. This team can be competitive if he finds that form again. If not, we have no shot.
Turnovers don’t help either. The Denver game was close and the offense was actually moving well when Darren McFadden fumbled. The game got out of hand right after that.
Good post Raybin
The talk about DHB, I personally think he is extremely talented. But for a WR to be somewhat good they need a QB…and that is where the problem is. So you have a bad QB…why? Coaching. Cable is not going to fix this. So why is the coaching bad? Ownership. This goes for the Redskins, Rams, Cowboys, and Raiders. If you look around the NFL you will see the teams that are consistantly good its because of a solid foundation at the ownership and FO level. The Raiders will be better. McFadden is a beast. DHB and McFadden are what you build a team around. I suspect them trading or signing a decent QB in the future and drafting good young lineman to help out. Buuuuut how about you start doing better after the Eagles walk all over you. Im sure this is a bunch of rambling and run-on sentences.
You're absolutely right
I wrote a huge post about how the Raiders problems all begin with Davis:
Basically, Al Davis is delusional and won’t let the past go. You can read the link for more details.
McFadden needs to learn two things: 1) Ball security and 2) Keep those legs driving. He leaves a lot of yards on the field, so to speak, because he doesn’t fight through tackles enough.
Yeah thats what i have heard about McFadden. He reminds me of AP a little bit. You guys have a lot of young talent that will get better. Michael Huff and the CB with the crazy name are great. Louis Murphy looks promising. Seymor is a good vet that can be a leader. Oh and i heard the fans over there are pretty crazy so that helps.
...If I could jump in...
McFadden is highly versatile and could be a great back, could be. The two biggest problems with McFadden is ball security, and he goes down if a blade of grass looks at him wrong. The only things holding him back from being great and correcting his problems are the same things holding the rest of our team back; lack of motivation, proper coaching, and an O-line knowing what its job is.
Huff didn’t really start to shine till this year. Everyone thought he was going to get cut or traded in the off season, and most people were hoping for that. Keep in mind though, Huff has only been good in a part time role on the few packages he’s brought in on. The one game he had the full time safety job on this year he was less then stellar.
As for Murphy, God bless him. Doing as well as he is on this team and as a rookie says a lot about his talent and drive. He’s been one of the few players yelling at other players on the side line when they mess up (mostly JR). The problem is that Oakland tends to dissolve any motivation a player has.
Cable Bumaye! Raiders Bumaye!
How is Louis Murphy looking?
I wanted us to draft him bad this year.
I felt bad for him when I heard he went to Oakland… No offense.
He went later but I saw something in him that I thought could be special.
Astra Inclinant, Non Necessitant
Murphy's looking great
One of the few bright spots on offense. Total steal in the 4th round.
He’s had some bad drops and got JaMarcus picked off in the Charger game because he ran a bad route. Buuuuuut, those are the kind of things you expect in a rookie receiver. They’d be a lot less noticible if the rest of the offense was clicking.

thoughts on going to the game.
i actually have tickets for this one, being a eagles fan that lives in california. any tips on going to the game and not getting shot/stabbed? is all that talk blown out of proportion or should i really leave my eagles hat at home?
leave your eagles cap at home and don’t cheer for the eagles during the game if there are drunk fans around you. when walking towards your car after the game, don’t talk to anyone and just mind your own biz. i’m an eagles fan that lived in the bay area for 10 yrs and i’ve heard some crazy stories about drunk fans beating up on fans that root for the other team or fans in non-raider gear. for the most part, the raidernation shows great sportsmanship and knowledge about the game e.g. raybin, but it only takes one bad seed to make the entire crop look bad and as eagle fans, we all know this better than anyone…

Leave your hat... trust me
You wont get shot or stabbed but mugged is a possibility and constant booing when you walk around will happen. Now if you are sitting in the nose bleeds you should be fine. Maybe keep it in your back pocket with your shirt over it until you get up there. Basically mind your own buisness, if you can stay by a crowd with as many kids as possible with older adults. Peopole may assume that your with the kids. Biggest tip, dont feed the fans(meaning dont talk to anyone, or influence anyone, if you can bring a kid cause people may not boo you as much if there is a young kid). They will throw beer on you, harrass you so much cops may escort you to another area of the stadium. Just dont do anything to make you stand out.

Nellie: "Your a rookie"
I actually don't live in Oakland
So I’ve never been to a game. I hope to soon.
From what I know, it’d be standard visiting fan etiquette at most places. Don’t wear a hat, but a jersey is fine. Don’t shout or taunt anyone. Be good natured if you get heckled.
Special note for Raider games: For the love of God, STAY OUT OF THE BLACK HOLE. If your tickets are there, sell them. Even I know that much. :-)
Congrats on sticking with your team
My question involves the state of the Raiders and how you would improve them. Obviously there is seemingly many glaring holes up and down the roster. With the set of players you have, who would you like to keep, get rid of, and give time to develop in order to build a successful team?
Also, what is this easiest part of the Raiders game for the Eagles to exploit, offensively and defensively?
Thanks man.
Who I would keep
Offense: Louis Murphy, Darrius Heyward-Bey (can’t give up after 5 games), Chaz Schilens, Zach Miller, Mario Henderson, Robert Gallery, Michael Bush, Darren McFadden. I think 3rd TE Brandon Myers would be worth keeping too. I think he has a nice future.
Defense: Richard Seymour, Tommy Kelly, Thomas Howard, Kirk Morrison, Nnamdi Asomugha, Tyvon Branch. I’d also kee reserve DT Desmond Bryant and DE Matt Shaughnessy to see how they turn out.
Who I’d get rid of: Everyone else.
Easiest part of our game to exploit? Everything.
Seriously, though, to beat the defense, run right at it. Medium range passes also work because the defense always overpursues and they turn into big gains.
As for beating the offense, well,…….you already do it. Blitz, blitz, blitz.
Blitz!
How many sacks you think the Raiders are going to give up this game.
If we blitzed as many times as we did last week…i can only imagine how many times we bring 7 and 8 guys…I’m sure Trent Cole and Jemarcus Russell will have plenty of time to get acquainted…
I wish you and your team the best Raybin…great post…Keep the FAITH!…just don’t count on any prayers being answered this week.
O and one more…Currently, who scares you the most on our offense and defense?

I'll be optimistic
And say five sacks.
Who scares me the most on your team? DeSean Jackson has the speed to get behind Nnamdi. Brian Westbrook and LeSean McCoy are dynamic. And of course, Donovan McNabb.
Defense, it’s pretty much your whole defensive line.

So what's the long term story for Vick?
Is he there to be a 3rd string QB or are the Eagles planning to do some serious Wildcat action?
