The Bucs seem like they have some talent

I’m gonna give them some credit, but the silly mistakes on the Birds’ part have got to stop if they want to be elite.

We get ball to start half

So he need to milk the clock 10+ minutes. Defense is too damn tired.

Vick #2?

Vick is technically listed as the backup (#2) QB during games right? I know the depth chart lists him as 3rd but because of the rule where if you bring in your third string QB, the first two can’t return. So in order to run the wildcat with Vick, he would have to be listed as 2nd right?

by BwH_ on Oct 11, 2009 2:52 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

No, he can still be listed as #3, they just have to activate him. It costs them a special teams player.

by Tracer Bullet on Oct 11, 2009 2:53 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

he’s number 3 but is active for the game we’ve been over this. The rule only counts if the 3rd QB is not part of the active man roster.

McCoy has great vision and patience.

Felix is better than Brian. You can call me FIBTB.

Bad teams . . .

Bunch of terrible teams out there including Detroit, Cleveland, and KC but you definitely have to include TB in there. Johnson can’t read a defense to save his life at this point and their defense is a shell of what it was 3-4 years ago.

Really hard to tell just how decent this Eagles’ team really is far because their Ws have been against some real zeros.

by MG77 on Oct 11, 2009 3:28 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Well... sort of.

Good teams pummel bad teams. That’s a fact.

The Eagles have done that.

The real contenders are the ones who beat other good teams. That remains to be seen with this team yet. It is a good team though.

by JasonB on Oct 11, 2009 3:30 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

same with NYG

theyve played a slew of bad teams, only not-horrible team they’ve seen is Dallas and they still needed a last-second FG to win

they have done the job (ill give them that) but you still need to match up with the great teams

That’s how you convert short yardage Reid.

Eagles need this win today . . .

Eagles should be 4-1 after playing the hapless Raiders next week but there schedule doesn’t have a “gimme” after that all season.

Erg. Of course they are. Maybe Romo will forget what down it is again.

by Serk on Oct 11, 2009 3:33 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Hard to see the Eagles going better than 3-3 though against Boys, Skins, and Gaints. At best, I say 4-2.

But why is McNabb still in?

RIP Jim Johnson, best ever.

Maybe McCoy should hand that off once
