Congratulations, Folks
Well, you guys did what you needed to do. . .slugged it out with us for four quarters, got a big play when you needed one, and pretty much shut us down in the second half.
Best of luck to you guys against the Giants next week. I'll be pulling for you guys to represent the NFC now that we're not in it any more.
And now I've reached the 75 word limit.

I said early in the 2nd quarter that the next score would win… Turns out it was true. Some really great defense played today. Both let up one big play to a great RB.
I dont care how we did it
We did it. The Vikings played much better than I expected. Props to them. Its hard to win with an inexperienced QB like Jackson.

Jackson Stinks
Are u kidding me Tavaris Jackson is an up and comming QB? He stinks. I was never worried at all yesterday that the Eagles would lose that game knowing that Jackson was the QB. Viking fans u need a QB, and your head coach no Einstien either.
Kudos to the Vikes
You gents are gonna make some noise in the NFC for seasons to come…a tough-fought game, congrats on a good season.
jaws
Great Class
thanks Gonzo. Best of luck to you guys in the futur
Who wants to play Leapfrog with Trent?
Gonzo is classy!
thanks for the classy posts and info this week!
Your team is going to be a force in the future i’m affraid
If you can't sell out a playoff game, should you lose the right to have a home game?
Thanks,
That was a good game … Lovehate is probably crying, maybe he should realize a good team when he sees one next time … WAY TO BE BIRDS!

Thanks! I definately underestimated the Vikings (I think the national media did too). I think Jackson’s got a good future ahead of him and Peterson and Taylor are a great RB combo.
I wonder if I can bill Jeff Lurie and Peter Angelos for the years of therapy their teams are going to put me through.
to say nothing of that defense. very impressed.

That defense is good enough to take them deep into the playoffs. This game raised more questions than answers about Jackson for me though…
That makes two of us
The thing is. . .all of the great “veteran” options that the experts wanted the Vikings to pursue at the QB spot? Yeah. . .not so great. . .
Pennington – Yeah, nice regular season. Royally crashed and burned today.
Favre – BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA please. I can’t believe anyone bought into Ted Thompson’s lie that the Vikings were interested in this schlub.
Garcia – Imploded during the last month, and took the Bucs down with him.
People seem to like to continue floating the “Donovan McNabb to Minnesota or Chicago” rumors. That’s never going to happen. The Philly front office isn’t stupid.
Jackson might really have been the best option. . .which, I guess, is a bit like being the best ice skater in Kenya.

Yeah you’re probably right and I’m not sure if the Derek Andersons and Matt Cassels of the world that will be out there this offseason are anything to get too excited about.
Fact is that great QBs don’t become free agents. They’re pretty much always developed. Drew Brees may be the lone exception in the past several years.
Nice Job Vikes....
I wouldn’t want to play them again.

Thanks, folks
After seeing the way that Giants fans have acted on our site for the last couple of weeks (even after this same gesture on my part), I can without a doubt say that you guys are way classier than they are. For a team that lost an “insignificant” game to an “insignificant” team in Week 17, they sure do have a lot of guys that like to run their mouths.
Here’s hoping that you guys rip their throats out this Sunday.

Having grown up in South Jersey and then living 20 years right outside of NYC, I can tell you the main difference between Philly fans and NY fans: A Philly fan will smack you in the teeth if you mess with their team, but they’ll reach out an help you back up. A NY fan will smack you in the back of the head with a bottle then run like a little girl!
