Eagles up 16-14. I'll happily take a lead into the half on the road in the postseason. Still, offense needs to play much better.

I thought the issue today would be which Eagles showed up, the good ones or their evil twins.
Kinda right in the middle so far … maybe looking like the latter, with poor third-down play, settling for field goals, not scoring before the end of the half.
But they are winning, so I’ll try not to sound ungrateful. I didn’t think it would be a blowout by any means.
Well, I badly underestimated the Vikings. (And it looks like the bad Eagles showed up).
And back to drinking….
I wonder if I can bill Jeff Lurie and Peter Angelos for the years of therapy their teams are going to put me through.
It's not the score
It’s the reappearance of everything bad about this offense. Scared to run on 3rd-and-short, minimal role for the RBs, terrible game management at the end of the half. They can’t win playing this way.

Honestly I would. Like I said, I’m happy with any lead on the road against a good team. We still need to play better for sure… but a lead is a lead.

didn’t send enough guys after Tavaris on 3rd down. he wasn’t feeling the pressure, so he was able to convert too many 3d’s. that can’t be allowed to continue.

You know what I don’t understand, the announcers are all over Peterson, and he’s had one run greater than 5 yards, and many 0 yard runs. So quit the “Westbrook has been absent” schtick. Peterson has one run greater than 40 yards, and 17 less than 4.

+alot.. i really thought we played kind of flat in the beginning and didn’t really have a consistent rushing attack until the end of the game. our D was great though.

1 HUGE play on each facet of the game (offense; defense; special teams, which went for only 3 points) and the D was (very) good enough to win.
I feel good about this…came out a little flat, but I don’t feel like there’s any continuity or flow between games for this team — they won tonight when they weren’t their best (a tough, sloppy game like this they wouldn’t have pulled out earlier in the year), and we hope the 44-6 Eagles show up next week.
