Asante Doubtful for Vikes; Misses Practice

Asante might be missing our first playoff game. This would hurt our coverage of Bernard Berrin. Not Good. from FoxSports.com
PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Eagles Pro Bowl cornerback Asante Samuel was held out of practice with a hip injury and is listed as questionable for the divisional playoff game against Minnesota. Samuel strained his hip in Thursday's practice. Coach Andy Reid said Friday he thinks Samuel is going to be OK. Samuel made the Pro Bowl in his first season with the Eagles. He is tied for the NFL's career lead for playoff interceptions returned for a touchdown with three.

Wow

That would be absolutely huge if Samuel doesn’t play on Sunday.

I thought he was listed as questionable yesterday. . .I wonder what changed between yesterday and today. (I could be wrong on his previous condition, too.)

LMAO!!!!!!

If you can't sell out a playoff game, should you lose the right to have a home game?

not to be of subject but .. Edgerrin James =James told ESPN’s Bob Holtzman that he won’t return to the NFC West champions next season, even though he has a year remaining on his contract.

“I can’t go through this again,” James told ESPN. “I didn’t come here to block. I’m not an offensive lineman.”

dont get me wrong iam not saying the eagles should get him in anyway but does anybody think he would make a good cheap back up some where in the nfl ???

I think...

…everything went downhill for him that day when Arizona choked against the Bears in ’06 (“We are who we thought they were!”) when he gained 55 yards on 36 attempts. One of the great displays of running back futility.

yea but that was the year the bears went to the Super Bowl with that dangerous smothering D….im not making excuses for Edge i think his good years are faaaaaaar over but that was a great defense…..but wat the fuck 55 yards on 36 carries i expect that from Lorenzo Booker not Edgerrin James the great ProBowl back of our memory

Well if that was Asante at questionable or doubtful, I’d like to see him as fully healthy this week…

But T.O. and his sideline histrionics wear on a quarterback. He's like the hot stripper you tried to clean up and convert into a real girlfriend. It's a lot of fun until the moment she has her second drink while out to eat with your parents. You unravel quicker than she does.
