McNabb's Arizona home vandalized
Us Philly fans threw snowballs at Santa a hundred years ago... so obviously we're worse.
What was going through the mind of the misguided juveniles who used gasoline to desecrate the front lawn of the house in Chandler, Ariz., where McNabb and his wife, Roxie, live with their children over the offseason. According to a friend of Mrs. McNabb’s, “Go Cards” and other similar messages were burned into the front lawn one night last week. This had to be especially scary to the couple’s four-year-old daughter, Alexis, who was staying in the house with Roxie and the couple’s six-week-old twins. Apparently one of the culprits was identified after leaving a box at the scene with a mailing label affixed bearing his name and address, so we’re obviously not talking about criminal masterminds here. But it’s tough to imagine that anyone over the age of eight doesn’t understand that burning something on the lawn of a house occupied by African-Americans carries deeper social overtones that are highly disturbing. I’m told Donovan took a photo of the damaged lawn and used it as a motivating force for Sunday’s game. I hope it’s the last time he or any other professional athlete ever has that opportunity.
Imagine the national headlines there would be if Eagles fans vandalized a player's home with his little children in it?

Do you like this story?

Yes
Everyone in Arizona burns crosses and worships the devil. There are bad people everywhere and unfortunately they do bad things. Sounds like a bad prank perpetrated by some ignorant teenage kids who had no idea of what racial connotation my be misconstrued from their actions.
You guys played a great game, good luck next year.
Congratulations on debating with no one
No one said “everyone in Arizona” does this. But obviously some Cardinals fans did do this. And if the situation was reversed, it would be completely different…
+1
the wrap we get as a whole is hard … and something like that would be mentioned in every future sports article talking about the Eagles fans … booing irvin , throwing snowballs , burning fitzgeralds lawn ! …. they media loves to hate us ….
If football had a church, Brian Dawkins would be my preacher !

And the point goes to Captain Obvious
Preaching to the choir here buddy. We all get lumped together in Philly. Not to mention the national media never bothers to find out what actually happened with our most infamous moments (Santa Claus, Michael Irvin). Eagles fans are supposedly the dreck of the nation and if this was done by an Eagles fan you wouldn’t be able to get away from the story. But since it was a Cardinals fan you hear nothing but crickets.
whos the captain obvious
and why only one point … being a captain of something atleast deserves more credit :D

So, did McNabb use that for motivation in the first half or the 2nd half?
I wonder if I can bill Jeff Lurie and Peter Angelos for the years of therapy their teams are going to put me through.
Agreed
That if it was a Philly fan that did this, it would be all over the place.
But here’s a question to think about…
Why is a Chicago native who went to school in Syracuse and who is a Philadelphia Eagle living in Arizona in the first place?
