The Blown Call

Granted, we played poorly in the first half, but the 4th down no call on the pass interference was what took this game away from the Eagles.  Dude would have been wide open...My biggest pet peeve is the restriction on talking about the officiating in post game conferences.  I prefer freedom of speech.

There is no justification for swallowing the whistle on that play.  There should be an appology to the Eagles and the Eagles fans.  I don't know that we would have scored, but there was no doubt that Curtis was not given a chance to make the catch.

It’s like the end of a basketball game, you almost never get that call unless it’s one so obvious that three officials throw the flag.

Lay it all on that call if you want to — I would’ve preferred we got it — but anytime you come down to one shot for your whole season, especially if you need 10 yards, the odds are against you.

Shouldn’t have let it be 4th and 10, and honestly … we had the lead and gave up the winning score.

Yeah...

Everyone saw it, I saw it, Kevin Curtis saw it, Donovan McNabb saw it, and I think the Cardinals saw it.

The fact is, Donovan made the throw, Curtis was in position. That’s what you expect them to do.

And you think Mr. swallow flag ref would make that same no-call in Philly? Difference only was that there was not a riot on the field because the stadium was filled with Cardinal fans.

the blown call

was not the reason we lost the game. We lost because we laid an egg on both sides of the ball in the 1st half, then made a late run but didn’t have enough. We lost because we put ourselves in a position to let the officials decide the game for us. When a team does that, they usually lose.

It was..

It was not the reason we lost the game, but it did eliminate any chance we could win it.

FUCK THE BLOWN CALL

CATCH THE FUCKIN BALL CURTIS!

IT WOULD HAVE BEEN 31-6 GOING INTO HALFTIME BUT THE REFS GAVE A GIFT TO THE EAGLES ON THAT KICKOFF RECOVERY. THAT SHIT DIDN’T GO OUT OF BOUNDS AND THAT’S A LIVE BALL.

IT’S NOT A BLOWN CALL. CURTIS WASN’T MURDERED. HE WASN’T FACEGUARDED. HE WASN’T PUSHED.

CATCH THE FUCKIN BALL

Hard...

Hard to catch the ball when you’re getting pushed from behind at the last second…Curtis did not have the opportunity he should have had to catch the ball…Period, the end.

ain't no period...the end

with the season on the line, catch the ball. period. the ball hit curtis in his hands and in-between his eyes. catch the ball. period. you can’t rely on the referees to bail out your dropped pass in the last 2 minutes of an NFC Championship game. period.

As...

As he was falling on the ground after having been pushed…there’s a reason there is a penalty for that…

Blown call is right!

Except you got the wrong one mentioned here. What about that kickoff that never went out of bounds? Referee and the NFL already said they blew that one. We would of had the ball near or in the redzone, game would of been over right then.

Your Pass Interence call is a marginal one and could of went either way. But since the refs blew that first one….Thats it…

You got beat by a better and hotter team…period…

Rule...

It hit the player on the forearm while he was out of bounds, should have been Eagles ball on the 40 if it had been reviewable, which it was not. But under no condition do the Cardinals get the ball.
