Terrelle Smith's Mom's Vision
It was in April, when the breast cancer had spread to her brain and she was in the toughest battle of her life, that Cardinals fullback Terrelle Smith's mother first told him of her vision.
She said she saw him playing at home in the NFC Championship Game.
Nine months later, it's happening.
"Doctors say sometimes they get delusional and, at times, we thought she was," Smith said. "But now it lines up. It makes sense, and it tells me what to fight for every week."
She won't get to see it. She died in December.
Smith's father died four years earlier. Smith said he is dedicating Sunday's game against the Eagles to both parents.
"I'm keeping a positive out of something that could devastate you badly," Smith said.
-------------------------------------------------
Isn't that special? Too bad for them the vision apparently didn't include winning the title game or playing in the Super Bowl.

Jesus man...
You’d kill a newborn if it guaranteed an Eagles victory, wouldn’t you?

Harsh?
Sheesh! I was just copying the story over, and noted that her vision miraculously only extended up to the next game. Don’t you suppose if God was granting her comforting visions of the future, and that future included a Super Bowl appearance, that she would have said that?

newborn? yes
toddler and older? no
Thats a cool story, not his mom dying but that she had faith in the Cards. I’m gonna have to think god is on Dawkins team though.

Haha that reminds me of the super fans from SNL.
“Who would win in a fight, Dawkins or a Hurricane? But wait, the hurricanes name is Hurricane Dawkins”
"Philly is a hot team now and they are playing well on defense, Donovan has managed the game well and I don't think there is any team out there ... I think they beat the only team out there that had a chance to beat them, and I don't think there is anybody out there that is going to beat them. I'm on their bandwagon and I'm picking Philly to win the whole thing." - Giants RB Brandon Jabobs

Imagine going to the superbowl and winning it this year
and dawkins for some reason to decide retirement after the superbowl
imagine wut his speech wud be :|
it gives me goosebumps just wen they won the NFC championship in 04, imagine wut it wud be if its retirement and superbowl victory… woah.
he isnt gunna retire tho, i think he’ll keep on playing until eli manning AND/OR Tony romo have kids and they grow up to be NFL QB’s and dawkins sacks them both
i think he’ll retire after that day. :)
