Around SBN: The 2009-2010 Card Chronicle Big East basketball preview

"Philly is a hot team now and they are playing well on defense," Jacobs said. "Donovan has managed the game well and I don't think there is any team out there ... I think they beat the only team out there that had a chance to beat them, and I don't think there is anybody out there that is going to beat them. I'm on their bandwagon and I'm picking Philly to win the whole thing."

Nice

I like Jacobs. Could you imagine a backfield with him and BWest? Hmm….

Humbled

Wow, I have a new found respect for Jacobs

Seventy-one percent of the world is covered by water, the rest is covered by Brian Dawkins

Classy

i used to think jacobs was arrogant, but this is very classy. Especially seeing as all ive heard from giants fans is we shouldn’t have won today and we didnt beat them they beat themselfs and so on. but much respect to Jacobs

I don't get that "beat ourselves" crap

I guess they beat themselves when they signed O-lineman who couldn’t give them enough push on two crucial fourth and shorts. I guess they beat themselves when they scouted Manning and didn’t realize that his throws don’t work too well in the swirling winds of the Meadowlands. I guess they beat themselves when they failed to put the ball in the end zone ONCE!

I bleed green and I piss silver and blue

Jacobs used to spend a lot of time in opponents faces

but this year he has behaved more honorably. Better to let your performance speak for itself and leave the trash talking out of it.

As most of you who read my posts know, I am a McNabb fan. But I do think the little deal with our coaches phone on our sidelines was uncalled for.

This is certainly a great win for the Eagles, a lot like our run last year. Congratulations….you beat us fair and square.

Hmmm....

I used to dislike jacobs, especially for that hit he put on akers sending him into the Giants bench. But he IS a free agent this year…

…hmmm….

I still dislike him

and will until he changes colors.

Who wants to play Leapfrog with Trent?

i’m actually pretty fine with the Westbrook/Buckhalter combo… too bad Buck only sees the field when Brian is hurt

My buddy runs club promotions and had him at an event

So far I’ve gotten DeSean Jackson, Sheldon Brown, and Correll Buckhalter (having met the first two but I was in VT for Bucky) … he is trying to get Dawkins for an event in Feb I’ll let everyone know when/where if it goes down.

Yeah keep me posted bro.

yeah he gets Sheldon Brown a lot

he’s a chill dude, I wish I could have met Bucky I’m a huge fan. DeSean was quite as shit and his handlers said he is probably the most shy player on the team when it comes to fans, which I thought was odd. I’ll let you know about the next event.
