Eagles corners ranked number one
Highly respected Dallas Morning News columnist Rick Gosselin recently released his ranking of all NFL cornerback units. The Eagles came in at number one.
After signing Pro Bowler Asante Samuel this off-season, the Philadelphia Eagles have three corners capable of lining up against anyone. Lito Sheppard has gone to two Pro Bowls, and Sheldon Brown led the team with three interceptions and 19 passes broken up in 2007.
Add Joselio Hanson, who has started eight games in his three-year career, and the Eagles have the best corps of cornerbacks heading into the season.
1. PhiladelphiaSince 2003, Brown, Samuel and Sheppard have combined for 50 interceptions and nine touchdowns. Opponents completed 57.6 percent of their passes against the Eagles last season, third best defensively in the NFL. That percentage should decrease with Samuel.

too bad Lito and Sheldon have beef. I hate drew rosenhouse. Anybody think this will be a problem? I wish those three could embrace the oppurtunity to shut down offenses the next couple years. Im sure this threesome wont last, but it would be nice.

dude it looks like
The players are cool, Sheldon knows that Lee-Tow didn’t say anything it was all Rosendouche. Reports from training camp were that Sheppard and Samuel were seen arriving and leaving camp together. Don’t think there is any drama with the players its between douche bag, Lee-Tow, and the FO

I was wondering if anyone knew how I could listen to the Eagles game on sunday online for free? Im from the philly area but stationed in North Suck-ota right now. Im thinkin about joinin NFL.com and gettin the field pass thing but I wanted to see if there was any free ways I could do it first. I heard 610WEP.com does it but I jusyt wanted to see if anyone knew for sure. Any feed back would be appreciated very much.

Here's the answer
I feel your pain midnite, I’m an Eagles fan in South Africa. Go to www.freefootballradio.com and follow the instructions. They will give you a choice of about six links/stations. One of them will carry the game. 103.6 worked last weekend. This works. If you want to watch the game, go to www.channelsurfing.net and look for the Eagles game. Unfortunately I don’t think every Eagles game is available here, but its possible. So you’re guaranteed of listening to the game, with the possibility of watching it. Enjoy!

Field Pass...
… owns the rights to all internet streaming media of NFL games. WYSP’s web site used to stream the games, but when the NFL discovered there was yet another corner of their market that they hadn’t completely bled dry, they shut down everyone but themselves.
Sorry, do I sound bitter? (An Eagles fan in the middle of Texas with only Cowboys and Texans games on week in and week out!)
You could always do like I do. I sent a SlingBox to one of my high school friends in S. Jersey so I can watch the games over the internet. Smart huh? NFL Sunday Ticket on DirecTV costs about 3 times as much as a single SlingBox and postage. (and a friend who can never say I never did anything for him)

I may be out in left field here....
….but since Desean is playing in Philly, shouldn’t we make his nickname in Gaelic or Italian (Latin?) rather than Spanish? Anyone know how to say “One” “Zero” in any of those languages? If Desean was playing in Dallas, or Houston, or San Diego, I can see Spanish. Plus, nobody likes a copycat name…..
