Goals for second half:
1) Stop sucking on Defense
2) Stop sucking on Special Teams.

3) Remind Kyle Orton that he is not Joe Montana.

This is not like I thought it would be.
This seems like it’s just that occasional complete meltdown of a game that the Andy Reid Eagles tend to have some times.
Completely sloppy. Kyle Orton is either much better than I thought he was, or our pass defense is TERRIBLE.
Andy Reid, go for it on 4th down once in a fucking while. Did ANYONE think Akers had a prayer at a 50-yarder? I would have punted before letting Akers try a 50 yarder.

I'd like to add +1 to Jasons post in last thread
Points off of turnovers is a major difference in this game
Man we can't start the season 2-2.
Especially with the Redskins coming to town off of their win at Dallas.
at the risk of sounding like a dork
Planet Earth on Discovery for those of us who hate Cris Collinsworth
only watch planet earth when I am stoned. Hopefully it will still be on after the Eagles wrap up this awful loss.

Hi there. Actually I am pretty optimistic about our prospects in this game. just frustrated with the first half.

As Sabonis said in the 1st half, to play that bad and only be down 7 is good news
If, of course, they can get it straightened out in the second half. Could certainly be worse right now.
Believe it or not, I’ve gravitated over the years to where I have a lot of faith in the coaching staff.
This just has the feeling of those eggs they lay every once in a while (thinking Tennessee, Jacksonville a couple years ago, Chicago last year)
Granted they’re shorthanded, but it’s the sloppiness I guess … I can live with them getting outplayed if they give a good effort.
I've got a confession
The Eagles are 0-5 in the last 5 games I’ve watched. That’s the last 5 prime time games. My superstition is mounting…
I was traveling for work during the Rams and Steelers games, but I was home for the Cowboys. Shit, I should have asked to go to a conference this weekend.

Hello
I’m nice, I promise. I’m a Giants fan, but a Cal student, so I just wanted to hear what you guys had to say about DeSean/MeSean…
seems like he just screwed up bad there, though.

no good
buck is down, and d-jax is rattled mentally back…D-Jax ran a bad route…very good pass by #5, but DeSean went the wrong way
Homo is Romo
what could #5 do,
the play was for DeSean to run forward. DeSean ran the wrong route. the pas was actually very good
Homo is Romo
If this is the 2008-09 Eagles, I am revising my prediction to 8-8.
They look too much like last season.
I’m going to bed. I’m going to bed. I’m going to bed. I’m going to bed. I’m going to bed. I’m going to bed. (Not)

catch the damn ball rook!
And that might be the worst Hester return I’ve ever seen
"Watching Big Ben kiss the canvas nine times in Philly was like watching a guy fighting a school of sharks -- with everyone rooting for the sharks."
celek put us in FG range with that extra effort
which is huge because at this rate we’re going to need 3 of them!

That really was rather
comical. Good effort, though!

4 point game
but you guys are acting like the football game is a foregone conclusion and we’re messing up the win that we are destined for. COME ON, IT’S FOOTBALL! THERE’S A QUARTER LEFT AND IT’S A GOOD FUNCKING GAME!
We’re pissed because we shouldn’t be losing by 4 points, we should be up by about 14

i like this guy
talk positive…4 pt game. d gets a 3 and out and we can be back in business
Homo is Romo
Your D is keeping you in the game
It’s amazing, I feel like every time I look away to read some notes, your D has just stopped them again and your offense is getting back on the field.
I’ll be scared when the Giants play the Eagles. Hope Spags can give us some insight.

You can follow the game from a bunch of different angles
wow. go bears. Their offense moves the ball for us better than our offense.

I can NOT believe what is going on on this football field. I can’t even get excited for turnovers anymore.
Is it ok to say this?
Second half shutout

once watching the eagles…
It’s always easier to turn it off…

I will take any win at this point, but our offense has to learn how to function without 32
