Goals for second half:
1) Stop sucking on Defense
2) Stop sucking on Special Teams.

Awful football all around in the 1st half. We are lucky to be a touchdown away.
If they look the same way in the 2nd half I am gonna be really worried about them.

This is not like I thought it would be.
This seems like it’s just that occasional complete meltdown of a game that the Andy Reid Eagles tend to have some times.
Completely sloppy. Kyle Orton is either much better than I thought he was, or our pass defense is TERRIBLE.
Andy Reid, go for it on 4th down once in a fucking while. Did ANYONE think Akers had a prayer at a 50-yarder? I would have punted before letting Akers try a 50 yarder.

If, of course, they can get it straightened out in the second half. Could certainly be worse right now.

Believe it or not, I’ve gravitated over the years to where I have a lot of faith in the coaching staff.
This just has the feeling of those eggs they lay every once in a while (thinking Tennessee, Jacksonville a couple years ago, Chicago last year)
Granted they’re shorthanded, but it’s the sloppiness I guess … I can live with them getting outplayed if they give a good effort.

I dunno, the offense is playing short handed and the D served up some easy TDs early. They aren’t blameless in this debacle.
Plus if thye manage to win I’ll stop calling it a debacle.

Nobody’s saying we can’t pull this one out … cept maybe Fuqua.
But as much time as you spend getting excited about this team, I don’t think it makes you a bad fan for agonizing when they don’t play well.

Your D is keeping you in the game
It’s amazing, I feel like every time I look away to read some notes, your D has just stopped them again and your offense is getting back on the field.
I’ll be scared when the Giants play the Eagles. Hope Spags can give us some insight.
