Cowboys, Eagles plan to seize NFL spotlight : Many questions to be answered as NFC East powers meet in Dallas

When these teams last met, the Eagles won 10-6 in Philly. Now they go to Dallas to play their final game in decrepit Texas Stadium, trying to win there for the first time since 2004.

The last time these teams met the Eagles did indeed win 10-6, but it was in Dallas not Philly. The Eagles have not only won in Dallas since 2004, they've won there twice in a row.

I have message for you Mr. Tom Curran.

I emailed Mr Curran and gave him a run-down of the Eagles success over the Cowboys in the Andy Reid era and there most recent success at Texas Stadium

Wow.

Yeah, in 9 meetings at Texas Stadium in the Andy Reid era, the Eagles have won 6. (’99, 03, and 05 being the losses) and 2/3 of the games at Texas Stadium since the 2004 game he references.

I’m not saying that that has any bearing on tonight’s game, just that it’s a pretty huge editorial error.

HUH!?!?!

was Coach Reid standing portside when this happened?

Ho hum… Andy Reid is fat, and the boat tipped over… Regular George Carlin aren’t we? Try to tap those two brain cells together a few more times before you open your mouth. You may surprise yourself and come up with some original and funny.

Its getting a little better

Good Job – your getting a little better. In fact much better w/out all the F-Bombs. Anyhow, good luck tonite and may the best team win. Hopefully for me that’s Dallas, but my opponent in FFB has Witten, MBIII, and Folk, while I’m starting McFlabb; Westbrook; and DeSean [whom I told everybody the Cowboys should have drafted after watching his career at Cal]. So its a win/lose or lose/win kind of night for me.

translation – i couldn’t find those two brain cells, so i surrender

what a fan ...

I would never play a Cowboys player in FFB if they were playing the Eagles, I would probably never play them period.

I can actually make a statement for Foos because I am playing him in FFB this week and he sat TO and Romo (well played sir). And on the other side I’m playing McNabb and I’m sure Foos would rather have McNabb throw for 300+ yards and 5TDs and lose in FFB than the obvious other choice.

More fairweather fanhood here

So its a win/lose or lose/win kind of night for me.

I will lose every FFB game I ever play if the Eagles win, not the other way around.

SHOP GEICO

see, it shows what cavemen you guys really are…at the end of the day I can appreciate a great football player no matter what laundry he wears – you guys, uh no…just blind homerism.

Um foos – halftime was not a tractor pull [Game in Texas so probably entertainment would be red-neck related]…..

It was foos – greased down, naked, and singing Liza, while being roped by Rowdy on his 4 wheeler…Rowdy won [foos ankles tied in the air], to a standing ovation LAWLZ

thanks Whodie… I haven’t checked the FFB results yet… but you are correct on you assessment regarding who I sat and what my prefered outcome would be
