Sunday football open thread
It's a day off for us Eagles fans. Just a leisurely day of football without an Eagles game.
I know there's lots of panache that goes with primetime NFL games... but honestly I'd always prefer to play on Sunday afternoon. To me, that's football time.
Anyway... there are some games of importance to the Eagles today. The Giants go on the road to St Louis to face the recently thrashed Rams... Can STL put up any fight?
The Redskins could be in real desperation mode as it's likely 2 NFC East teams will emerge from this weekend 2-0. The Skins host a good looking New Orleans team in what could be described as an early season "must win" for them.
Minnesota was many people's sexy pick to possibly win the NFC... but they're in danger of starting 0-2 with a visit from the Colts looming.
Chicago at Carolina should be an interesting game. The Eagles play Chicago in two weeks so it should be interesting to see if they're as good as they looked against the Colts. Of course, the Eagles hold the Panther's 1st round pick next year... and coming off a big upset on the road against the Chargers, the Panthers are looking to start the year 2-0.
After Dallas, the Eagles will host the Steelers who looked dominating in week one. Sunday night football sees them travel to Cleveland to face what could be a desperate Browns team.

Here’s to hoping the Rams play out of there minds.

Because AP is the most exciting player in football to date, but that doesn’t combat Tavaris Jackson under center. It amazes me they can still run so well when everyone knows they can’t throw for shit. Man in Minny had a QB with AP and CT and there defense they would be nearly unstoppable, unfortunately QB is pretty important.
SD got screwed
Can’t believe the refs missed that fumble call at the end. SD got robbed. They also got jobbed in the 1st half when the replay equipment wasn’t working.
Gotta give Shanahan credit for going for 2 and the win. That call took serious balls.
Our carolina pick ain't lookin' so hot.

we should want a high pick
we have good cap room. even though they cost a lot, it would be nice to pick up a O lineman like chris long that miami picked up this year. there is no way to get a stud like that with a 2nd round pick. Heres to hoping the panthers fall apart.
Jake Long
Chris long is a DE and went to the rams. but to be trouthful i wouldnt mind eiter of them.
I made the biggest mistake yesterday
I went to the driving range during the one O’clock games, and stunk it up. Should have just kicked back moderately enjoyed the Giants/Rams game.
