Couldn't see it

I tried to tape it on DirecTV/NFL Network and had my TV tell me this program is not available in my area. WTF??? I live in Fox Chase, why isn’t it available?

Looks like Westbrook’s new deal includes $13 mil over the next 2 years. Nice.

Jerome McDougle has looked great! How amazing would it be to see him not only make the team but be a player? He’s really been impressive.

There he goes again! Wow. Playing the run and the pass.

Fact of the day from Gus Johnson. Stewart Bradley owns 15 books on architecture.

All in all I feel pretty good after this one. The ones looked good. Desean Jackson looked good. McDougle came out of nowhere. Not a bad preseason showing.

Hey guys.

Its 4 AM here now, and Ive been lying in bed following the game on play by play on my cellphone (I know its awful, but its all I got). Things have sounded all right. Impressed by D Jac. Bit worried about the return game though, what dit it look like?

The NFC East goes through Philly.

nothing special, booker looked pretty good tho, he had one return that looked like it could go a long way before he tripped.

I probably missed something, but why didn’t Westbrook play?

Just cathing up...

I missed the game but saw most of the highlights…

1) I’m really pulling for jerome mcdougle! I hope he not only makes the team but makes everyone forget about the past.

2) I love Desean jackson and think he’ll contribute right out of the gate

3) Hooray that the Bwest saga is over…

4)... Um the one thing that did scare me a little bit was how bad Dawk got faked out by holmes… that reminded me WAY too much of how Deuce McAllister juked the crap out of Trotter two years ago. I hope that isnt a sign!

Concretefield can suck it

Random Observations

First team defense looked suspect. Complete inability to stop the run, and Dawkins got brutalized on the touchdown (is age catching up?). They dominated against Pitt second team which is to be expected.

I was impressed with McDougle but not blown away. He was beating 2nd and 3rd string tackles with ease to hurry the QB but was still a few steps too slow to get sacks.

Offense looked solid not spectacular. Definately hard to guage when B-West isn’t out there, although McNabb looked crisp and relatively mobile. Was happy to see D-Jack make some good catches. Less happy to watch his returning

Demps was the best return man out there. Booker struggle (bobble and slip), D-Jack didn’t show much (aside from showing an ability to run backward). Demps showed speed to get to the corner and an ability to make people miss. I think he’s the guy for the job.

Very dissapointed in Moats. I was super-high on this guy a few years ago, he looked lost in pass protection the entire 4th quarter. He was a significant factor in Feeley looking so bad. Can’t see any way he makes this team.

Jackson had very few opportunities to make a return. Couple of fair catches, couple punts out of bounds.
