A note to displaced fans
Most of you know that I don't call the Philly metro area home which makes actually catching a game challenging sometimes. The Patriots game won't be broadcast here live, but NFL Network is being kind enough to re-air the game at 7 AM Eastern Time on Saturday.
As it so happens this week I won't even be within a mile of a TV, computer or cell phone for this reairing, but through the magic of the DVR I'll be recording it. After reviewing the game, perhaps I'll have something to say about Tony Hunt the FB, DeSean Jackson the starter, or some coaching gaffe or other. Last weeks game left me wanting clear skies for Friday's contest and without much to say...

Listening to the Game
I know you’ll be away from the internet, but for the other out of towners: you can listen to the game online at either the WYSP website: www.94wysp.com or on the WMGM website: http://www.wmgm1037.com/
I planned on listening to the 610 webcast but they were only playing re-runs. Not sure if they’ll go live during future games.

I’d be very interested to read a film review if you did one CE.

I’ll be at the York Revolution (Atlantic League) game Friday night. I’m hoping that they’ll show the Eagles on the video board.
(Or I’ll just have to listen on the radio).
But yeah, I’d be really interested in any video review you do CE.

Thank you Tecnology!
I haven’t lived in Birdland since ‘77, but I bleed greener than ever! Thanks to the wonders of Direct TV, the NFL package, and my DVR, I seldom miss a snap. We’ll get tonight’s game at 1 pm tomorrow, and until then I’ll avoid all media so I can watch it for the “first time”. It’s not so hard, once you train yourself. I’ll take the wife out to a movie and dinner (can’t go to sports bars for fear of glancing the score), then I’ll busy myself on Saturday with the kids and chores until 2pm- that way the first hour is taped and I can zip thru the commercials!
The thing I love about preseason is that I get to hear the local Philly guys on ETN. It’s like being back home. I never fast forward thru the Tastykake commercials!

I had to watch
The Eagles-Pats with the Pats commentators.
The Steelers game with Spads on the sideline, I could watch those guys all the time.
I have trouble coughing up the 250+ for the Sunday ticket – I just go to the local brew pub. That said, I would pay $100 for just eagles games…
Hmmmm
