Will McBride get a chance to show his skills?
I am a follower of Shaheer McBride. I watched him for 4 years at Delaware State. I believe he is a special player. From all I have been reading, he seems to have been doing pretty well with the eagles.
I didn't see him play in the last pre-season game and wonder if he will get a chance to show his skills on friday against the patriots. I think he can play in this league.
The last player I saw from Del State who i thought about this way, was John Taylor, who ended a great career with San Francisco.

I’ve watched McBride a bit in practice highlights and I’ve seen him make some pretty good catches. I’m talking about real reaches where he has lunged for the ball, gotten some good ups, and snagged the catch with just his hands. If he has any shot of making the team, the coaches have got to give him some more playing time, man! We have Curtis, R. Brown, Avant, Baskett, G. Lew, and DeSean as locks. Or perhaps Baskett is not a lock – I dont know… I doubt we keep more than six. So, unfortunately, I think you may be setting yourself up for disappointment. Do you think McBride has more potential than Brandon London who is playing for the Giants right now? Recently injured but I hear he’s a stud and probably won’t make their team considering how deep they are at wideout. In Peter King’s MMQB article, he specifically draws people’s attention to a prediction – that Brandon London will be on an NFL team this year.

McBride
If they are not going to give him achance, then I would like to see him relaesed soon so he can move on. I believe he will play in the league. Those catches you saw, are an everygame thing for him. But you are right. You can only go forward if someone gives you a chance.
Who ever heard of Mississippi Valley State ?

now that Curtis and Brown are out it’s Shaheers time to shine … he should probably get more consideration at least.
