Hunt?

I know that Hunt was probably going to be cut after tonight if he had not preformed well. It was a preseason game so i really can not give Hunt this much credit but he did average 15.8 yards per carry. In all he had 5 carrys for  79 yds. the longest being the 51 yard break away.  If you compare him to booker, Hunt did better in both preseason games. Although your answers will all probably be the same i would like to re ask about our running back situation. I would love it if we had a Westbrook/booker/hunt type of situation. I know buck can run but i still think we need a big back.  If hunt does get cut who do you think will be in on our 3/4th down short yardage runs?  What do you all think?

Cut?

Nobody important is getting cut until after the last preseason game. The Eagles can carry a roster of 75 into the 4th game, then have to make cuts down to 53.

there is no way they are going to cut a proven and effective backup (buckhalter) over two players like moats or hunt

it’s never smart to deal only in definitives…get it…what i just said was a definitive statement…but still…you never know what they’ll do. most people probably would say two years ago that there is no way the eagles trade their first round pick for the next two years…but they did. just for an example

I agree,

Buck stays, Hunt is just auditioning for another roster. I would admit that he is making it interesting.
