This has everything to do with Philly sports, not Eagles

Sorry guys, I'm actually a bigger Eagles fan than a Sixers fan, but I'm sure many of you guys are somewhat casual Sixers fans, and if not, at least Philly sports fans. This reminds me so much of T.O. coming to our Iggles- It seemed like somewhat of a surprise, and we got a huge player out of an off season.
Sorry again guys, this does not have much to do with the Eagles and I'm sort of expecting this post to get torn down, but the Sixers are back...

He is a big guy.

Anyway I’m excited about this but I worry about his achilles injury and the fact that he is 29. We could have tried for Josh Smith for less money who is only 22 and can jump out of the gym. Anyone familiar with the sixers must be thinking “I hope this isn’t the second coming of Chris Webber”.

Why isn’t there a Sixers blog …

I do worry about that… but Webber was more broken down when he got here than Brand is.

yea and besides, the lowest total of games that he’s played over the course of an 82 game season before last season was 62, so he’s not a Lito…

and he averaged 17.6 pts and 8 rbs in the 8 games that he played last season, so i think it’s safe to say that we’re not just throwin the 82 mill…
