Annual BGN Lehigh pilgrimage 2008

BGN is headed to camp! Next Sunday and Monday(Aug 3 & 4) I'll be heading with some friends up to Lehigh to cover Eagles training camp live. My plan is to stay overnight from Sunday to Monday and catch all 4 practices.

If anyone wants to stay over with me, there's still room at the inn in bethlehem. Literally! Actually I'm still finalizing my hotel plans so anyone that wants to stay should be contact ASAP. The more the merrier(and cheaper)!

For everyone else, let me know if you plan on attending either day. We'll meet up talk Eagles football, tailgate, and generally have a good time.

Fullbacks

I’d be curious to read about what’s going on at fullback. I imagine Jason Davis is running with the first unit, but is it really his job to lose? They brought in Kris Wilson and Luke Lawton. While Tapeh was reliable, I’ve secretly been wishing for that proto-typical, versatile, west-coast offense fullback for some time now. I know it’s a dying position, but to me it’s just as valuable as tight end in this offense (and we saw last season what happens, particularly in the red zone, when TE play takes a step back.

I have a queston, Maybe someone can help with

I have never been down to camp. Is it Free, or do you pay? If I were to go, will I be able to see the actuall practice, or is it usually over crowded?

I just want to know if its worth while to take a day off of work and check that out. I would hate to go and not be able to see anything.

Any tips guys?
thanx

Its worth it for sure

Unless of course practice were to get rained out. They move it indoors when that happens and then you cant see it.

And yeah, you can absolutely see practice… especially if you get there a little early and can pick your spot.

Its free to get in

Also, if you want to meet some players and your ticket isnt drawn for the autograph tent hang out outside the tent and catch them when they leave

Sweet,

I’m gonna bail out a day next week and take my wife and son. Sounds like a blast.
