Lito was more than happy to Leave

| I've learned that Lito Sheppard was very upset that a trade to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers fell through earlier this off season.
Sheppard visited the Buccaneers in April just before the draft with the hopes that he would be traded south to the Bucs. Unfortunately the Eagles wanted more than the Bucs were willing to give. I understand that there were talks between the two teams but they didn't go far. Sheppard was in a very good mood when he paid his visit to Tampa because he thought a trade was imminent. Of course he wound up being very disappointed. |

you´re right
It bothers me too!
I personally think he doesn´t deserve a better contract! I´m tired of the whole story and i don´t want to get into that any more!

i can understand how he would be excited to play in tampa being from florida it makes it easier for friends and family to be there for him. He also would be moving from one powerhouse defense to another. can’t fault a guy for wanting to go home

Yeah
but with Buchanon and Barber he probably wouldn’t start there either. I don’t care how unhappy you are you signed a contract you step up and play … if he deserved more he would get more.

word out of early camp is talib was working with the starters so liuto likely would have beaten out buchanon as well. and i wasn’t arguing the fact that he should honor his contract but if the team allows him to seek trades and he is happy that a team in his home state wants to trade for him. I don’t hink he should necessarily get more money and believe most gms in the league would like to see him play a full season before paying what he believes he is worth, just like the eagles have done.

I think that Eagles should work a contract with incentives
Maybe you can give him same pay with same lengh, however you include incentives for number of games played and perfomance. (LTBEs)

I've tried to keep quiet
ok here it goes lito weak man he gets injured too much and he isnt man enough to admit he made a mistake and stick with HIS OWN decision, and hopfuly earn the right for a new contract next year. i understand how he is unhappy but its th same feeling when you stub your toe, it hurts, your not happ about it, and it was only your fault. He should just give it up by now and not try to make it worse by hireing that agent.
