Eagles Fantasy Depth Chart Summary
PHILADELPHIA EAGLES FANTASY DEPTH CHART
Donovan McNabb and Brian Westbrook are proven fantasy performers, but who else on the Eagles is worth investing in on draft day? Our fantasy depth chart will help answer that question.
Key:
PTR= Position Tier Rank. This is the tier level where the player should be slotted in drafts.
1 = Elite Player.
2 = Solid Performer
3 = Backend starter/Bench fill-in
4 = Roster filler or long-term prospect
0 = No value
ITR = In The Rotation
PB = Position Battle
S = Starter
QB PTR
Donovan McNabb – S 1
Kevin Kolb - PB 4
AJ Feeley - PB 3
Summary: Although McNabb has had some shoulder problems this off-season, he looks like he is back to his old mobile self. He could be a draft day bargain if he starts to fall in your draft. Kolb is the heir apparent to McNabb. As of right now Kolb is the backup, but my hunch is if McNabb were to be injured and only to miss a game, Feeley would get the start. If he was out long term, then Andy Reid would turn to Kolb.

As far as fantasy goes...
I think Booker hurts Westbrook’s fantasy value – but helps the team in reality.
We’ll see, but the only real fantasy stud is DMac assuming he’s healthy.

My Tier Rankings
Mine are a bit different. I don’t set up the tiers the way you do. McNabb is in my second tier, westbrook in my first. Kolb and Feely have no business on your roster.

Yeah, as far as fantasy football is concerned there’s no way you can consider McNabb elite, unfortunately, simply because of his injury history. You need consistency to be elite, and the only two that fit the bill are Peyton Manning and Tom Brady.
Unfortunately, QB value isn’t that great unless you’re in a bigger league, because the next few QBs will end up with around the same number of points. I lump McNabb in there with Carson Palmer, Drew Brees, and Tony Romo.
Of course, McNabb could end up healthy all year and put up numbers similar to Manning/Brady, but to list him as an elite fantasy QB as it stands now would be folly.
But, yeah, Westbrook is a fantasy stud, and he shouldn’t be taken any lower than 4th overall.

The only reason to draft...
The only reason to draft Kolb or Feeley is if you already own McNabb and play in league which allows a deep bench. WIth McNabb’s injury history, it would be wise to have insurance. In leagues which have small or no bench players, obviously they would never be considered.

Thee's no tier for super elite
If there was, Brady and P.Manning would be the only ones one it. Now, can McNabb put up 27-30 TDs if he stays healthy? I think so. So that would put him at the same level as Romo, Palmer and Brees.
