So, Jason's going on vacation - to freaking Mexico.  Apparently somebody is needed to water the plants and feed the cat while he's gone. 

Some of you folks suggested that I take on the mantle and I must say - thanks.  I've always had something of a love hate relationship with writing and must admit that it means something that my drivel is appreciated around here.

Who is this cavortingEagle dude anyway?  Well, I'm an Eagles fan who grew up in Glen Riddle, PA, Califon, NJ, and graduated HS in Vermont.  When in PA, between the ages of 7 and 10, I became an Eagles fan thanks to a running back named Montgomery, a QB nicknamed Jaws, a 6'7" wideout and a coach named Vermiel.  At 7, my dad actually worked at Weidner College and I could watch the training camp practices from a hill next to the practice fields.  Then when I was 10, there was this big game against the Raiders which the Birds lost, that Superbowl was not easy to take - I've been a fan since.  Nothing would make me happier than to see the Raiders in the Superbowl again - but this time we beat them!

Anyway, for whatever it's worth, I'll be changing the gato's litterbox and fertilizing the plantas while Jason's away.  Keep bringing it in the Fanposts and we'll keep the site fresh!
