I wasn't very old when this happened, but I remember it pretty well. If I remember correctly the Giants were undefeated coming into the game.
This was the "laces out" season

Buddy's D
Was a thing of beauty. I almost feel like it was the opposite of JJ’s – Stuff the run, make them beat you with the pass often giving up the big play in the process – where as JJ’s D is predicated on preventing the big play.

You don't see TD celebrations like that anymore

One of the all time stupidest rules in my opinion.
I’d rather see a bunch of guys celebrating a TD in the endzone than the “creative” celebrations we get today.
Oddly I find myself getting fired up about this – need to chill.

100% agree
the celebrations now single players out and its a showcase … Team celebrations should be accepted and singular celebrations banned, after all it is a TEAM sport.
I understand the reasoning to speed the game up but seeing a bunch of grown men jumping around like they are 10 and just scored there first TD in pee wee it takes me back.

side note
is it bad that I questioned my spelling of singular because of a cell phone company.

there's too much technology
Your side note brings to mind (and this is going way off topic) a William Gibson book -Pattern Recognition- a few years back that dealt with the oversaturation of media in peoples daily lives. One thing that really stuck with me was that it’s main character was actually violently allergic to bad marketing – decent read…
I think it’s ok to question your spelling, but if you start feeling vertiginous around flashing billboards, perhaps step away from the laptop for a couple of days

funny you should say that.
Im a computer programmer for a start up company so I spend countless hours in front of my computer. Anyway long story short I had to take a weekend and stay away from the computer because I was having trouble focusing when not looking at a computer screen.
