So they are starting to rank all the NFL teams in the offseason and where do the Eagles land?
From Yahoo Sports:
16. Philadelphia Eagles (8-8) - The Asante Samuel pickup was a splash, but it's going to take the development of the young guys in the front seven (Brodrick Bunkley, Chris Gocong, Omar Gaither, etc.) to move this franchise back into the NFC elite.
As I seem to recall, our defense last year didn't seem to be the problem, and the "young guys" in the front seven put on a big show. I thought that the problem was our inability to score in the RZ that really killed us. So how will bolstering our defense be our true key to success and dominance in the NFC?
It's funny how they rank certain teams in the top ten that have been utterly raped in the offseason as their veteran/probowl/elite starters got better deals at other teams (ie. Patriots and Giants)
