Well that was nice
One thing I appreciate about Andy Reid: He scouts himself really pretty well.
Turning over the gameday playcalling to Marty has given the Eagles a real lift on offense.
Against the Ravens my wife kept asking, "Why the heck is every pass going deep?" At the time I thought that and incredibly insightful comment - since the WCO is all about rhythm passing. Now with Marty making the play calls the Bird's O once again is about rhythm passing. The thing about this game: the Eagles were able to get a lead and run the clock.
They were able to run the clock because they were able to run the football. I don't know what was going on in the first quarter, but even though they had something like 6 called running plays for -6 yards, the Eagles stuck with the run. Had Andy been calling the plays, we'd've probably seen a couple more pass attempts. Marty stuck with the running game and it paid dividends. With regard to my last 2 posts, I stand corrected. Well done Marty.

Run West Run
Run West Run! I loved that offensive game plan!!
I couldn’t agree more. Every time Marty calls the plays, the offense is consistent and marches the field.!
When this season have we moved the ball that consistently down the field!!?!!?!?! Beautiful!
That game was more lopsided than the scroe showed in the end.
My only complain about the entire game….
Why the Prevent D?!?!?!? Prevent D only prevents you from winning!!
Next stop…..Monday night football!! Go Eagles!!!

I hate the prevent ..
it’s like we will give you whatever you want as long as you stay in bounds and run the clock out. Retarded shut them down!

While Akers was kicking his last FG, I had telling a buddy that the Eagles D had pitched a shutout.

Let's just hope there isn't a let down next week
It would be like this team to beat the likes of Pittsburgh and the Giants, then turn around and lose to a dog like Cleveland (and tie Cincy). Let’s keep Marty calling the plays and not screw with what’s working.
