Dawkins to set Eagles milestone
On Sunday, he'll play in his 180th game as an Eagle, tying Harold Carmichael for most in franchise history.

to true , hes the kind of player that you could buy his jersey even if he retires next year and it would never go out of style -

If he wants to continue playing after this year, the organization better give him a new contract

Weapon X
Unfortunately, I think we all know exactly how Banner, Reid and the rest of the FO is viewing this. “Dawk is older and Dawk has lost a step”. (Trotter?) They may be right but what about the leadership he brings, what about the emotion and tone he sets? Can the locker room be the same without him? Is the secondary the same without him? What the about the fear he instills on the opposing WRs? Sure, down the road he’ll eventually be gone but he still has starter quality game left in him. If he leaves after this season this secondary will miss him, this team will miss him, this city will miss him and I’ll miss him. Weapon X is still alive & hittin’. I’d hate to be an Eagle WR next year if Dawk goes to Washington.
