Bears fan watching with Eagles fans

This is a beautiful ass kicking. JJ started licking his lips, and so did the vultures.

by Whodie126 on Dec 28, 2008 6:00 PM EST up reply actions

I think “the prevent prevents you from winning” is just something people say because they’ve heard other people say it.

First of all, you don’t even really mean the prevent, which is like standing on the goal line at the end of a half. You mean don’t loosen up … but that’s a proven strategy to protect leads and “shorten the game” if your DBs can tackle.

Dallas is going to move the ball through the air no matter what D they play.

Whodie, I’m fine with sticking with what’s been working so far, I just hate when people say that phrase because it’s so off base, IMHO

All things considered

if a double-pass doesn’t go for a TD, it could’ve been worse.

Dallas is desperate already.

I’m starting to think this game is going to come down to ‘can the Eagles offense chew up some clock and continue to attack rather than revert to their scared three-and-out style.’

NFC East

If things keep going the way they’re going, the final standings will be, what?

NYG 13-3
PHI 9-6-1
DAL 9-7
WAS 9-7

When 9-7 gets you last place in a year when 8-8 was potentially good enough to win two divisions, that’s a heckuva year.
