QB Situation

Who should be the starting Quarterback for the Eagles next season?

Star-divide

Should the Eagles stick with Donovan McNabb as their starting QB? Or should they move on to the Kevin Kolb era?  They could also bring someone else in.  I personally am sick of seeing the same thing happen every year where the Eagles don't play consistantly until December, and I know you can't blame that all on Donovan, but the quarterback is the leader of the team and the fact it that the eagles have not gotten consistant play from their quarterback in the past few years.  I know Kevin Kolb has not looked good when he has come in this season, but the first time Andy threw him in on the road against a tough Baltimore defence, and against the Browns Kyle Eckle missed a block causing him to throw that interception.  I personally think that the Eagles should give Kevin Kolb a chance and see how he does.

Kevin’s mom and dad?

I wonder if I can bill Jeff Lurie and Peter Angelos for the years of therapy their teams are going to put me through.

I voted for Kevin Kolb

Not any disrespect for Donovan, but he has trade value. And this team is gonna hit serious rebuilding mode next year with out your 2 starting tackles. Even if 5 is here, he will struggle with no O line.

Also, Kevin really hasn’t had a fair opportunity this year, clean-up work doesn’t count. And he played just as bad as 5 against Baltimore, not worse.

If you can get a first round pick for 5, lets do it. Its better that, than to get nothing in return.

What about Lito, is he done yet,

maybe we can get a 4th rounder now. We should have traded him last year for a second rounder. Man did we get burned on him.

What would we do with 3 first round picks. Now that we are in the playoffs, things are gonna get tricky with 5. Does he stay of does he go. Hey isnt’ there a song like that.

#5

Donovan is the best QB to play for this team period. He is by far the best QB on the roster at this time. The only way we will win is with Donovan at the helm.

There is no way in hell that any team would give us a 1st round pick for him anyway. Even if they did what would we do with it? Trade it for a 2nd and a 4th?

I want Donovan as my QB until he needs a walker to get on the field.

He is our best option and a great QB. Yeah throwing it into the dirt, or smiling after fuck ups pisses me off, but he is one of the best and they are hard to find.

Hmm

Forget a “walker”…what about one of those old people scooters? That’s added mobility; I wonder if we could design some cool plays if he’s in one of those…

UGH

I am sooo tired of the McNabb haters. Simply put, the fans that want to see him go clearly forget the futility a team struggles with without a franchise QB. McNabb has brought nothing but a winning attitude since he has been in Philly. No, he never brought us the big ring yet, but he gave us the hope of it every year. Even if he never wins a ring, he is still the best QB Philly has ever had. You can’t judge a QB’s legacy based on a ring. Was Marino one of the best ever? Yes! Does he have a ring? NO!
McNabb is a mear 150 yds short of his best passing year ever and only has 11 picks.
With how often the fat man asks him to throw the ball, that is pretty amazing in itself.
Kolb has shown us nothing….certainly nothing worth saying goodbye to our franchise QB Super 5!
