"Top Ten Moments at Texas Stadium" - ESPN

So I just saw on ESPN that they decided to post their top ten moments at texas stadium since it's closing it's doors this year.  There were the usual suspects that you would expect to see on that list including T.O. standing on the star when he was a 49er, a couple plays from Staubach and Smith, and of course our Romo-esque bobbling of a snap that cost us a game to the cowboys in 1997.  But right, smack in the center of the pack was the Bounty bowl, and their kicker trying to pick a fight with the Eagles bench.  I love it.  I love how even when ESPN tries to put a list together - that was voted on by fans -  that kisses the ass of the Cowboys, we can still drop a deuce right in the middle of it.

Anyway, just thought I'd share.

(They also had one or two games on their where they lost to the redskins, which I also found funny.)

How about...

…that time we dropped 49 points on them in 2004. The 14 second McNabb scramble, the long bombs to TO, Pinkston and…yikes…FredEx.

That was a beautiful day.

are they out with a loss

i’m assuming they’d have to beat us and have both tb and atl lose right?

and wow did the baltimore D just lay down on that drive

side note:
December 28, 1996 – Dallas’ last playoff win
February 10, 1997 – Mario Kart for Nintendo 64 is released

Cowgirls Playoffs

They need the Falcons to lose. Even if the Bucs lose, they are still out, because I think the Bucs have the tiebreaker on them.

Tonight

The moment McClain ran for the second big TD at the end and you could hear a pin drop in the place. THat was a great Texas stadium moment.

We still need to beat them (and the Redskins). Last night was extremely, extremely satisfying, but let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves.

I wonder if I can bill Jeff Lurie and Peter Angelos for the years of therapy their teams are going to put me through.

But, both of those long Ravens TD runs have to be on my Top 10 list!

Also, in no particular order, my other 8:

-McNabb’s 14-second scramble
-James Willis/Troy Vincent INT
- Brian Dawkins’ diving INT of Romo on Xmas 2006
-Leon Lett fumbling that blocked kick to lose to the Dolphins on Thanksgiving in the snow
- Last year’s Cowboys-Giants playoff game.
- How could I leave out the onside kick to start the Pickle Juice game!
-Mikell’s 4th & goal tackle of Marion Barber in Xmas 2006
-Westbrook kneeling at the 1

I wonder if I can bill Jeff Lurie and Peter Angelos for the years of therapy their teams are going to put me through.
