Eagles Recipe Plan!
Here are some of my favorite football recipes. I also have a full Eagles tailgate/football party plan if you email me at: KaitCav28@gmail.com I'll send it to you!
Buffalo Chicken Dip:
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
2 cans (9.75 oz each) Swanson Premium Chunk Chicken Breast, drained
½ cup Frank’s® RedHot® Sauce
½ cup blue cheese salad dressing
½ cup crumbled blue cheese
Assorted fresh vegetables and/or crackers
Directions:
1) Stir cream cheese in 9” deep dish pie plate until smooth. Stir in remaining ingredients.
2) Bake at 350°F. for 20 min. until hot and bubbling. Stir. Serve with vegetables and crackers.
Tips:
- Substitute ranch dressing for blue cheese dressing and shredded cheddar cheese for blue cheese crumbles.
- Make it tailgate friendly – prepare ahead of time and transport in a disposable heavy foil pan. When you get to the
tailgate heat it on a grill and serve nice and hot!
- Make this in the microwave by heating it on high for 5 minutes instead of baking
- Keep it warm in a crockpot or slow cooker
Philly Cheesesteaks:
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 medium onion, sliced
1 package (14 ounces) frozen beef or frozen chicken sandwich steak, separated into 8 portions
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) Campbell's® Condensed Cheddar Cheese Soup
1 jar (about 4 1/2 ounces) sliced mushrooms, drained
4 hoagie rolls
Directions:
1) Heat oil in skillet. Add onion and cook until tender. Add sandwich steaks and cook until browned. Pour off fat.
2) Add soup and mushrooms and heat through. Spoon meat mixture into hoagie rolls.

You posted the same cstuff on the Steelers blog, but you titled them delicious. Why do you give the damned Steelers the delicious recipes, and us the plain ones? Also, that cheesesteak recipe is blasphemy.

yeah no shit
But T.O. and his sideline histrionics wear on a quarterback. He's like the hot stripper you tried to clean up and convert into a real girlfriend. It's a lot of fun until the moment she has her second drink while out to eat with your parents. You unravel quicker than she does.

if you make a cheesesteak with cheese soup instead of whiz then you deserve to be booted off this site. Also, i dont know about this whole mixing everything in the pan business. You gotta let the whiz soak into the bread before you put the meat on the roll

See I pour the whiz over the meat, put the bread on top while still in the pan… then slide spatula underneath to pull it off.
I made cheesesteaks in college….

This is why I have a girlfriend.

I like to cook myself. My favorite football season recipe:
Cylde’s Man Chili
2 lbs ground beef
1 lb sausage
one 29 ounce can tomato sauce
one 29 ounce can diced tomatos
1 12 ounce cans V8 juice
1 15 once can Kidney beans
1 15 once can pinto beans
1 1/2 cups chopped onion (you can chop your own or buy a bag in the frozen foods section)
1 1/2 cups chopped bell peppers (same thing)
1/4 cup Chili powder
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 Serrano peppers (about 4 inches and thin green pepper, puts jalapenos to shame)
1 Chipolte pepper (they are large and green)
Salt and Pepper to taste
Brown ground beef and sausage, Drain fat into a cup and put into your largest pot. Add the rest of the ingredients (make sure you drain the nasty juice from the beans). Cook on low (or in a crock pot) 4-8 hours until thick to let all the flavors meld together.
Sometimes I add another can of Pinto beans, they are less beany that Kidney beans, and I like to fart.

As i read it i might have been unclear:
Drain the fat into a coffee mug or something and put it outside (or in your freezer during the summer). Then scoop the fat out and throw it away (its always sickening how much comes out). Put the ground beef and sausage into your pot….not the fat.

and make sure not to put the fat down your sink. When it gets cold it congeals and will clog up your pipes.

I also got my peppers mixed up…the large green ones are Fresh Polano’s, not chipolte peppers.

Chipotle’s are nice though.
I prefer to use habanero peppers for the spice and chipotle for the flavor.
I’ve got a pretty good sized habanero plant I’m trying to keep going over the winter (chilies are perennial in the right climate)…
