I hope everyone had a great holiday and hopefully the Eagles give us something to cheer about tonight. Maybe it's all the Turkey and booze but for some reason I have a good feeling about tonight. Don't screw it up Eagles.

Lets go Eagles
I’m actually pumped for this game. After the last few weeks I thought I wouldn’t get excited for this game but I’m am really juiced. Maybe its because it’s Thanksgiving and the Eagles are playing. Lets hope this game is better then the first two games.
Just a casual observation
Anyone else notice that nearly every head coach that worked under Mike Holmgren’s (whom today called 45 passing plays compared to 23 rushing) system in Green Bay are either on the hot seat or have been fired?
- Dick Jauron fired from Chicago and he seems to be getting heat for the Bills collapse after their fast start.
- Andy Reid…..you know the rest.
- Steve Mariucci fired by 2 teams.
- Marty Mornhinweg was canned in Detroit.
- Ray Rhodes was fired in Philly.
- Jon Gruden is the only coach not on the hot seat and he’s the best coach from that bunch.
So blame Mike Holmgren for Andy Reid’s troubles….;-)

Too many teams know how to defend against the WCO.
You could also take it a step further and realize how many good running backs ended up going to waste in the WCO
Charlie Garner, Michael Pittman, Brian Westbrook, Anthony Thomas……they preferred poor QBs like the immortal Joey Harrington over the running game.

Does anyone read Matt Mosley’s ESPN blog about the NFC East? This (Dallas loving) guy covers every Dallas game in depth and never does shit for the Eagles (or anyone else)
he was the Dallas beat reporter for years.
What do you expect? If Brookover or Sheridan was the blogger, they’d say the same thing. Local reporters get too cozy with their own team and don’t get the connections with other teams.

With MJG, Andrews is a big loss but one we can overcome
at GUARD at least. I wonder how this effects our plan for tackle, because there had always been talk of moving Andrews out. Does it become more important to develop King or Justice now, or do we draft a 1st rounder next year?

so far as bad as you felt about the birds last week you have to feel that much on the good side after tonight
packers and giants win sunday and we are all of the sundden very much in the picture for the playoffs

WR: Curtis, Avant, Baskett (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
WR: Brown, DJax, Lewis (1st, 2nd, 3rd).
Time to revise the depth chart, as DJax is leading receiver and Baskett is 2nd.

It’s about time to show some balls and pick some starters. Let McNabb build some trust with a certain few receivers and make the rest situational.
Curtis and Jackson as 1 and 2
and Baskett and Avant as 3 and 4. Cut/trade Reggie and cut Lewis. Shorten the rotation.
Size matters.
Baskett’s our only receiver over 6’. I’d like to see one more big bodied receiver.

There’s a guy named Shonn Greene from Iowa (5’11" 235). He’s rushed for 100 yards every game this year, including against my PSU. He might be good.
