What happend to Omar Gaither?

There does not seem to be a great deal of information as to why Gaither got benched.  He is second in the linebacking core in tackles and first in sacks.  Jordan is faster but he also is 15 pounds lighter.  If you ask me the problem with the linebacking core has been Gocong vs. tight ends and sometimes the run.  Gocong is also an ex d-end and weighs about as much as our "run stopping" guy abiamiri.  I was thinking it might be wise to go lighter and faster at strongside and put jordan at will, bradley mike, and gaither at strong with gocong moving to the dline.   I am hardly a coach and there must be a reason why this does not happen... does anyone know?

troll Not sure why Remis thought that, perhaps it is your name ;^)

Not sure about Gaither either. You are dead on about Gocong though, he is a pass rushing end. And he is a 265lb linebacker, I would be willing to bet that if he only played end, he could bulk up to 275-280 and have a shot at becoming an every down player.

lol it’s cool man

Look, our star RB is nowhere near 100%, our backup RB is out, and our 3rd string RB goes down when defenders blow in his general direction.
